  1. Is no one going to mention Powell's SS Jordan Sanford? Potential player of the year. I'm pretty sure he had some big schools looking at him as well. Halls and Powell both have very talented shortstops!
  2. When does this listing come out?
  3. The list is in the Mondays paper. All District team list and awards.
  4. J.D. Wallace from Halls high is a very solid catcher. Not seen much get past him this year. Think he signed at Memphis.
  5. I can see that happening. In this district anyone can pull off an upset I feel like.
  6. Everyone plays differnt no matter what they finish in the normal season. Teams play better ball when it matters..Who do you see being the final two teams that will advance to probably play Bearden and Farragut?? Last year it was Halls and Powell..I don't see Halls going again unless they start playing alot better.. I think it will be Powell and Karns.
  7. When Green is healthy he is Powells ace. But this year he has had back problems from what I've heard and is throwing late innings if they need him to close out a game or an inning.
  8. I agree. Everyone mentioned so far have bright futures ahead of them.
  9. My top five 1. Jordan Cooper-Farragut 2.Mac Thoreson-Farragut 3.Keenan Kolinsky-CAK 4.Phieffer-Farragut 5.Price-Anderson County 5.Green-Powell (If healthy) I've watched all of these arms over the past few years. All have great stuff.
  10. Burton-Halls Green, Hobby, and Owenby-Powell Those are the only ones that stand out to me.

You cant forget Marshallburg County Pats, Bucksnort Central, Taddleville Academy, and Boilingwater high.
  13. Marsh pitched great. Wind helped him alot.
  14. Yes. Great game to watch from the stands. Marsh pitched very good. Powell came out dead and could never make up for it. Green hit one in the 1st inning that everyone knew was gone until the wind caught it. Same in the 7th inning. The wind helped the Dragons but Powell just didn't have the power they needed to beat them.
  15. Powell won 11-2. Powell hit the ball really well with CF Andrew Green leading the game off with a HR and then hitting another HR his second AB. P Justin Hobby looked great on the mound and was very effective all 7 innings.
