I agree I think it will be a good game. Even as a Cougar fan I do think we will have to play better to win this one. While most people may say of course to that statement like I am an idiot...what I mean is I think Forrest is the more talented team. If MTCS pulls it off which I believe and think they will do, people will see it as an upset. If we make too many mistakes we will be in trouble. Wow....I will have to disagree with both of those statements. I am going to hope that you didn't see either of these games in person. Cause if you did I will know that you are exaggerating your thoughts. That would be correct

No sense in waiting this week. Last week my gut was right so I will go with it again. Here goes: Cascade -- Similar to the NCS outcome in this one. Can't decide if last night was a fire lighter or a deflater to the JB team. And Finally in the Game of the Week, MTCS--I can't pick against them. With what is on the line, the boys find that extra gear to overcome a tough opponent. Going to be a fun one. Can give up 5-6 yard runs all night if there is no threat of a passing game. Just put 8 in the box and pound the running game. Worry bout the deep ball after they can show you they have one. True...but 1:30 left and WHH still having timeouts left and as you said on the 30...they aren't far from field goal range with the boot they have in the back field. 30-35 yards in that much time isn't unheard of. Ask JB, I think they would know. So, while the execution was well done, the choice was big too. You could punt to pin them deep and take OT or chances at a quick 3 and out. Choosing to go for it was the right option though

Well looks like I picked the correct winner to the JB Cascade game...even though some tossed out my vote for not having seen JB. I knew my gut was right.

I gotta throw out a thanks to TreyVols for shooting me updates tonight. Actually wound up giving me a ring with about 1:00 to go in 4th and stayed on phone until JB scored. Then called me back after the Cascade score. Sounds like it was one heck of a game. MTC one had an exciting finish as well. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Agreed...it was probably a flag that could have or could have not been thrown and no one could question the call. Defender was going after the ball and in his swat took out the receivers arms. This however did not "win the game" for us. For one, aside from running the ball solid to take time off the clock, and having a pretty darn good kicker, the WHH offense didn't really do anything tonight. Slow going and alot of first downs doesn't stack up the points very fast. Good game to both sides, but I honestly think the better team one this one.

It is possible that these games could be labeled as scrimmages or something. Either that or they could have been scheduled after the schedule was put up online, but never added to the online version. Maybe...lol
