As of 1:00pm - the scoreboard show CC wins 2-1. Have they already played today because I thought this game was supposed to be at 7 tonight?

Should be a good game that will come down to the long ball, which should give the edge to CC. Breaking it down to each phase of the game the way i see it: *Pitchers edge should go to CC, Casey is peaking at the right time, basically shut Soddy down. *Defense is equal. *Hitting, should lean towards CC, if you look at Riverdale lately they have not put many points on the board. *Coaching, close. Both Coaches have put up allot of wins the last few years but Riverdale has won the big one. Edge to Riverdale. *long Ball, edge to CC *Short game, edge to Riverdale. Good game, big crowd CC should win by 2. Riverdale is 18-2, CC is 15-5 in games against common opponents. Should be a fantastic game. Riverdale by 2.

These two teams played 14 innings this season before one of them scored a run. Sounds like two great teams with two great pitchers.

Tasha Horne Summertown Lady Eagle softball player Tasha Horne has signed a scholarship to continue her softball career with Calhoun Community College in Decatur, AL. Horne is a pitcher and outfielder for the Lady Eagles and was voted the 2009 District 12-A Most Valuable Player as a Junior. Her parents are Bryan and Tanya Horne. Lauren Bivens Summertown Lady Eagle softball player Lauren Bivens signed her scholarship to continue her softball career at Calhoun Community College, located in Decatur, AL. Bivens has been a 3-year starter for the Lady Eagles, manning the second base position and specializing as a "slap" hitter. The Lawrence County vs Spring Hill games is cancelled due to wet fields and flooding. Lawrence County will play at Summertown tonight at 6:00pm. (JV game following)

I have seen the runner get called out for stoping in front of the SS and blocking their view and no contact was made. Did not agree with the call because the runner is watching the ball, making sure that the ball does not hit them as well. I have never seen the runner get called out for going behind the SS. Umpire must have thought they made contact.
