The way i look at it is Giles is still the district and region champs and untill some team proves us wrong at the district tourny and i wouldnt be saying ca & east is head and shoulders better than the district. this year has been very susprising with scores and all. im just saying dont just 'bet money' on any team. i wouldnt and i play for giles, i only say that because like i said this years scores and match ups are VERY different than years past.

Giles lost most starters last year, so we will be rebuilding for a few years but i wouldn'tcount us out of the race just yet.

wow..i wish the GC men's team got this much talk about on here when they went to sectionals the past two years. i believe there are more posts about GC girls this season than the guys got in the past 2 years. /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh:" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> but staying on subject..i believe it will be a tough battle and hopefully won't end like the GC men's did for the past 2 years.. 5-1 lose both years. it is good to see the GC girls get out of districts.

I agree with the last poster, i think it would be better to finish saturday night and why not even start thursday night and play friday and saturday. what is the difference from missing work than missing church?? They are both important, yet almost eveyone on a travel team chooses to miss sunday worship than miss a day at work on thurday. My girlfriend plays on a SB travel team and so far they have played 3 tournamenent and every single weekend they have had games on sunday starting at 9 and finishing around 5. it is true that some churches start earlier and some later to make room for these people, but they are few, just like one poster said. i believe all governing bodies of these travel teams sound step in and make a rule or statue about playing on sunday. money should be beside the point in all of this. I also believe that any member of the Lords Church should be ashamed for letting it get this far and im telling this to myself, i have missed church to see a ball game and i am ashamed of myself. Even though I am 17, I still believe that if only a small group would appeal to a governing body that it would be taken seriously.

good for you, im just gonna say good luck on monday cuz giles plays east. we will see who says ''what now'' after mondays game.

i think richland could win it if they play to their potential. didnt they make it to substate last yr? maybe it was regionals, but i think substate, anyway, they have alot of seniors and alot of experence with them.

its my personal opinion that richland will win, thats what this topic is about. maybe you shouldnt get so defensive about your team and learn to be able to take what ppl post here about your team. i dont even play for richland so my opinion is based on what i know about both teams. not biased. unlike you.

i think richland will come up with a win, they are usually strong when it comes district tourney time.

i don't know, they havent been able to come to school and see. lol. more they likely they wont be, but our coach hasnt told us anything.

only 3 of the 5 ppl that messed up their field were on the team. but we have 4 actual players out from our varsity Squad. they are only suspended from school. the other player is hurt.

i played in it, on giles. the only reason zion won is because we gave up after the late second half goal.

yeah that was a joke call in the box for east, none of us giles players knew what the call was for the PK. i was in the goal and right in front of the "foul" and i still didnt know what happened.

true true, so this should be a great upcoming game. thats good to hear, i honestly feel bad about beating teams 11 to zero and stuff, but a win is a win they say.

well i should be starting as long as i dont hurt myself anytime soon, just a heads up, some of our team likes to talk trash, alot. 2 yellow cards for it already i believe. i cant do any talking cuz im never around field players alot but some of the other guys will talk alot.

ahh, i see, the lovely red. what was it for? ya'll tied richland, was it a good game? how are they doing? we play them later on in the season. we usually win pretty handly, but i heard they were sorta ok this yr.
