  1. well he's half right. ooltewah has had a past of trash talking. lets go back in time when that baugh kid told stump martin on camera about the district tournement that it was already over and that there was no need for a game 3. pretty much making a joke of redbank baseball. And what happened? well redbank rocked him pretty good the next day and then made an awesome comeback in game after that. im not saying there was trash at this game or anything but it has happened in the past. in the stands and on the field, and i know on the field because i was there.
  2. yeah red bank should. with alan walden commiting to tennessee and hunter adkins..their pitching will be strong. both of them throw very well.
  3. wait..Stump on Sports said thet Bradley won as well..
  4. good job. Bradley is a very tough team
  5. very good pitching performance by LC's pitcher. hats off to him..good luck
  6. Oakland seems to be pretty hot. chattanooga area has definitly taken notice of it.. they must be on a rampage after being sent home by Cleveland last year. good pitching by Bolen /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  7. who knows. red bank has the best pitching staff in chattanooga..any of them could throw
  8. either that or Travis Roberts
  9. if it comes down to pitching..Red Bank is in very, very good shape. just ask McMinn County or Bradley Central...
  10. Clabo 5 K's in 2 and 2/3 innings..Ward 11 K's in 4 and 1/3 innings. Bradley had 3 hits
  11. Garland has been with Soddy Daisy for about the same amount of time Bumper Reese has been at Red Bank..and if he has the same mind set as Bump, he definitly wont leave SD after these years.
  12. well actually Andy is a senior. his younger brother is the sophomore. but yes he has been doing an awesome job at the plate. last weekend he hit 4 homeruns in 2 games. and for those that are complaining about strength of pitching or what not, Baylor plays a pretty rough schedule playing such teams as McCallie (always tough, has a crafty lefty), Red Bank (who has 3 college signees and 4 guys throwing right under 90), Dalton (who is one of the best north Georgia teams) and many more.
  13. redbank has improved in hitting and defense greatly since the loss to cleveland. theyre now 7-1.
  14. redbank's pitching is getting even better. walden and ward held a very good Dalton team to 2 runs in the Scenic City tourney. Hunter Adkins also came into relief against Oakland and smoked many of their best hitters. (and they have some darn good hitters)
  15. dont forget about red bank. extended dugouts, new windscreens, and always has a nice playing surface. same goes for hixson, its like a golf course over there. but ofcourse you cant beat lookout valley.
  16. red bank has 4 very good pitchers. Brandon ward throws mid to upper 80's consistently and can hit spots very well, hes a lefty. Alan Walden has hit 92 this season with a nasty breaking ball. Hunter adkins hit 90 at Ringgold and blew 3 fastballs past Drew Walker who can smash. and then Cullen Clabo also throws in the upper 80's consistently and hit 90 in the summer. two of them are juniors and the other two have already signed with cleveland state.
  17. what was the red bank D.B. score?
  18. hieght has yet to be an issue for redbank...for or against them. they are very underestimated due to a slow opening to the season, mainly because inexperienced freshmen (at that time) had to play in the place of benford and mcduffie, the two scoring leaders
  19. Red Bank looked real good this weekend. They went 4-1 against some quality teams.
  20. B.J. is a good quality pitcher..i faced him this year and he was better than i expected..also from the east is Massey ofcourse from baylor and another baylor player, Andy Shuford should get a spot..ive played with the kid since we were 4 and he tore the ball up during the second half of the season and was second in the chattanooga area in homeruns for quite a while not to mention a high average..hes also a brick wall behind the plate.
  21. ahh i see now..i thought it was just a cocky fan that was insulting cleveland..but since they were from siegel i understand. i apologize for any oakland players and fans that though i was insulting them..i wasnt..i was just defending my region because the siegel person made it seem like cleveland was a worthless team.
  22. congrats jackets on heading to state..good look in the boro..by the way this is for lance and pudge: ward says win it all!
  23. well 1st of all i am not a cleveland fan..i actually play for red bank..and second of all i was not talking bad about oakland i was just mentioning the fact that they get a lottt of hype and that it was not going to be a walk in the park like that other person mentioned on here earlier. they are a great team and i congratulate them on there impressive season.
  24. good luck to the jackets. ive played against and with some of their players and that is a good group of ball players and they give it their all not matter who they play.
  25. yeah it should be a great game. and clevelands ace throws mid to upper 80's and has a good bat as well. a few other of their players can hit well too.
