i know for a fact that Styles is indeed going to Fulton. Right now he is not practicing with the team because he is waiting for his transcript papers to go through.

Heard they are getting a real good QB from Berean for next year. I think he is a freshman

there are a couple players coming in that did not play last year and appear to be decent. barfield and j. will look good as long as they can keep up with running. winters might play QB. him or the other freshman.

I would love for us to not go to 2A. I just wish they would leave everything alone. But yeah, Maryville to 5A, Fulton and Catholic to 4A, and Alcoa to 3A. I can see it.

The answer to someones post is if Coatney leaves, then Rob will be Head Coach. Word is Humphrey is leaving as well. So that could mean big roles for Lambdin and Potter espicially if Black Sr. leaves within 3 years. Now how about this. Someone told me that in the next couple of years Fulton will be made into an Academy like Tyner. And that Catholic will move up to 4A and Maryville 5A. I think they said Fulton 2A with Alcoa. Anyone believe this?

Coatney I can kind of see leaving, but the day The Black's completely leave fulton, espicially if one transfers, is the day heck freezes over. I just dont see Fulton without a Black. Still no announcement, but the players that know about this are already talking.

Dont worry about BigCountry. He's in way over his head about DLs victory. Look, DL is a great program, but the reason they get to the Boro every year is because no one else gives them a challenge. Sure Catholic chokes every year and A-E wont win a region title again for about 5 more years, but thats what makes Fulton great as well. Region 2 is the best in the state and to get out of that region alive and healthy, and to make it to the Boro 5 out of 6 years and win it 3 of those times is a great acomplishment. Starting to feel like Catholic is the pre-2004 Red Sox.

And region 5 has who in it? Matter of fact, I dont even know who is in region 5. Know matter what anyone says about region 5, all of your points fall short to region 2 still being the best in the state. I gave my congrats to DL and said they were the best team in the state... this year. I would still choose a healthy Catholic over DL. And I hate Catholic so im being dead serious.

Did you not see Fulton vs. Catholic? Did Bubba Stokes not put his jersey on after he got hurt? And out of all games of the year to do something as meaningless as taking your pads off before shaking hands, this is the game you would expect it to happen.

Class Act. All of it true. the person i quoted on my last post needs to take some lessons from this guy. And everyone, if you are not a Fulton player, do not judge these players on how 'classless' or 'immature' you may think they are. If Lipscomb lost (like last year), not all Mustangs would've shook Fulton's hands.

Thinking the same thing here. Fulton had just taken the lead and all the momentum. David Lipscomb gets stopped there, Fulton gets the ball back and more than likely scores again and again and probably again. That was the play of the year for Zach Rogers and for the rest of my life, I will never forget Zach Rogers. Now you see how 1 play shifts a game. But poor tackling didnt help Fulton either.

What do you expect. We wanted another ring to show everyone, hey, we still are the Fulton Falcons no matter who we lose. Great season and I feel for ALL the seniors.

no my non-friend, Fulton gave away too many turnovers that costed them the game. It looked like Austin-East all over again. Also, "Hey Coatney", how bout letting Blair throw the dang ball! Is it my imagination, or did Blair throw 5 TDs against PC? If Fulton stops turnovers, espicially from the get-go, plus lets Blair throw the ball, Fulton wins. Anyway, congrats Mustangs on a great game. Pretty evenly matched and you all got the edge. Enjoy the banquet and rings like we did last year.

no disrespect Solomon, but will everyone quit saying 'young'. obviously it hasnt mattered this year about how young a team is, espicially if you have great playmakers like vic smith, ken tyson, and derrick humphrey.

okay a fluke would be if AE had won by a lot. they didnt. its not a fluke if a team cant convert on key oppurtunities (extra points). and on 3rd and 40, dont make excuses for your team. if Catholic couldnt stop AE, then AE was obviously a better team. as far as 1st win in 5 tries, the past is the past. again i say, AE beating Catholic was no fluke. just Catholic mistakes.

I will say DL is like Catholic, but then again, Catholic beating Fulton 27-0 was a fluke for both teams. I know this is sort of old news, but if they played again im not sure Catholic would even win. Imagine Fulton playing Catholic again, then imagine DL as a slightly less weaker Catholic. Who wins?
