Bad calls and good calls are part of the game. It's not ever going to change. It's the same thing as a player making an error in the bottom of the last inning. That one error didn't lose the game for that team so neither does a bad call. I guess if your kids team was getting all the right calls you wouldn't be complaining about the umpires would ya?

I will let someone else come on here if they here who it is and say but I'm not going to. Dyer and I are best friends and have coached summer teams together for years so I'm not going to be the one to spill the beans. It doesn't matter anyway. Both teams still have to hit, catch, and throw. Go Bruins!!!!!

I know who is starting for USJ. I talked to coach Dyer this morning on the phone. Typical Dyer. Everything will be alright for the USJ Bruins.

Bill I'm with you. I'm no umpire but I do get sick of hearing players and parents run their mouth about umpires. Yes there are bad umpires but for the most part the umpires make split second calls and however they call it is how they call and there ain't nothing you can do about it. These kids think the umpire is horrible if they don't get every call. I guess if your team was playing how they were supposed to be then you wouldn't be worried about a missed call during a game. Parents kill me with the running of their mouth at umpires. 99% of the parents sitting in the stands today know nothing about the game of baseball and how it has evolved since they were playing in Babe Ruth. haha... It's almost embarrasing to sit at a game around some people. So to all of you umpires...call your game and don't worry about these blind kids and know nothing parents say about your calls.

If Dyer keeps his team focused they will be fine but It's the tournament, anybody up there could win. Did anybody read the comment about Liles signing for the Juco on the Hill in Knoxville. That dude is mad because he probably got cut from his high school team. I don't care who you play for in the SEC. It's the SEC. Be proud Liles. You have accomplished a lot up to this point of your career. Good job dude.
