  1. I've never played for or met a graduate assistant that was a position coach. They typically work with the position coach. Also, just because you're meeting at the same hours as the paid staff doesn't mean you're doing the same work. I haven't had any negative experience with graduate assistants. I have simply seen what they do on a regular basis on the practice field and in meetings/games. It isn't even close to the same thing as what a position coach does. Don't take your experience as something that is common in "today's college football". If you were allowed to have full coaching control over a position on a college football team then you would be the first graduate assistant I have ever heard of to do so. I can say whatever I like whether it pertains to me or not. This is a high school football message board. If you don't like it, get bent.
  2. It was probably the only hire they could have made at this point. What coach (that has already been turned down once by Central and probably recommitted to their own team) would want to go to the mess that is Central Football? Mallory is on staff at Central already and it will be an easy move to just put him in that position. However, he must be the least qualified Head Football coach in the state. He didn't even coach football last year, no coordinating experience, and very little high school coaching experience. IMO, being a graduate assistant doesn't exactly qualify as "coaching".
  3. Did you ever think that's why he's been so many different places? Sometimes people move to get away from their past. Also, I would think teaching, on any level, would require more stringent background checks than only coaching.
  4. You do realize all the responses to your posts are to point out your stupidity or to address your smack talk, right? Anyone can entice a response. You get a lot less responses per post than anyone here. You post 10 posts at a time. Not to mention it's IMPOSSIBLE to have a reasonable conversation with you; that's why no one tries. ASK ANYONE HERE. Others here can actually discuss their teams reasonably and objectively. You can't. ASK ANYONE HERE. You're a joke. ASK ANYONE HERE. You continue to prove just how out of touch with reality you truly are. You aren't passive-aggressive. You don't understand what it means. It doesn't mean to be passive, then aggressive, slappy. You're clueless. Did you look in the "Misspelled Words and Bad Grammar" book to make yourself look stupid? How about the "Deluded Beyond Comprehension" book?
  5. What does that say about you, "PassiveAggressive"? You're constantly outwitted by posters here. And you don't even know what your screen name means. You aren't passive-aggressive, but I would't expect someone of your [low] caliber to know that. LOL! Your egregious grammatical and spelling errors, along with your inability to differentiate between reality and the fantasy land that is your own mind proves your nescience. You haven't made an objective statement in your CoachT posting history, not to mention your severe lack of self-awareness when it comes to your "team". You talk crap even when you lose and even about teams that beat you. It's your defense mechanism. You have no class or pride. You can't accept the truth, so you try to change it in your own mind to make yourself feel better. You're one of those "moral victory" hosers. One of those "at least it was close" types. You know, that "just wait till next year" slappy. You're just like every other tough-talking, closet sissy in the school yard. Everyone here is significantly brighter than you, pA$Sive. You're the 20 Watt bulb of CoachT.
  6. The only one here "hoping" is you. That's why you talk so much, you have to convince yourself that what you're saying is true. It's a common trait among the terminally deluded. You fit that mold perfectly.
  7. You didn't say that. You said "not all starters". Like it matters what team they started for. LOL!
  8. First, you lied about them not all being starters. Then, "it doesn't matter". Which is it?
  9. All of the kids you just named started for someone last year. Woods for the EH Freshmen. Coleman for McCallie. Want to try again?
  10. I would expect nothing less from the ultimate B.S.'er. You can't even name kids that you think will contribute!
  11. You're just hoping now. Everything you say is just wishful thinking. Why can't you name anyone coming back to replace your losses? You'll see. East Hamilton is coming.
  12. You didn't name any numbers of who will replace those you lost on defense. I also think you fail to realize that people aren't scared of your defense. Who is replacing Strickland/other D-linemen and the OLB's? What about the offense? Who is replacing all those loses? How many top defensive or offensive players are you returning? LOL! Coaches lobby for "all-district" recognition. Every good player on each team doesn't make it. It's all political, but it doesn't surprise me that you would put a lot of stock in that to begin with. You're all about paper all-americans. Heck, YOUR KICKER was Special Teams Player of the Year. If that doesn't tell you how much of a joke "All-District" voting is, I don't know what does.
  13. All of those kids played last year. They just happen to be upcoming seniors, juniors, or sophomores. I'm naming returning kids that contributed last year for East Hamilton. I guarantee you can't name that many returning kids that contributed for Ooltewah. You mad, bro? Why aren't you naming any numbers? LMAO! I know why. You're backpedalling and deflecting. COMPREHEND, Mr. Clueless?
  14. "Tackles" in high school football aren't very meaningful. Herndon was a big part of the defense. There are others that want to take his place. Francois was a big part of the offense. There are others that want to take his place. You're in for a rude awakening.
  15. What happened in the playoffs at Whooterville? Got #Pop Pop Popped
  16. I was here to see your predictions about the owls beating Cleveland and East Hamilton blow up in your face.
  17. You lost Pittman, Binder, Williams, Nobles, Strickland, Johnson, Slade, Hubbard, the heart of the team. Irreplaceable. Sands missed the season with a torn ACL, by the way. Only had him for 2 games. Might want to rethink that "irreplaceable" thing. I've literally already gone through and given numbers of kids that will replace them. Numbers include: 9, 6, 2, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 26, 28, 32, 33, 36, 42, 43, 56, 63, 66, 67, 71, 77, 88, 89. Coleman will help, along with some freshmen and others... All of those kids saw time last year. Who do you have coming back to step up and replace all that you're losing? I've yet to see you mention anyone. It's your turn.
