When crockett plays boone there a different vibe that goes on in the locker room on both sides. The players can feel it, The whole county divide into two sides depending on their team to win. Defense if tougher offense is harder every second of the game is intense. Stats can be forgotten this game can not be on paper just have to let these boys play it out on the feild. GO PIONEERS

He obvisiley doesn't know alot about dc when he said the basketball is good they are on a up swing with a good new coach and a load of talent an youth but be realistic.

Crockett should be a 6-3 team right now, much the same as they were last year. Whether they get the good breaks or not, Crockett has had a couple of good football teams...just haven't been able to get the job all the way done. Nevertheless...the team is doing much better than the 2-28 years they had with the former coach. Greene does a good job and who are you to say much about them. The thing about Crockett and Boone is that you have a lot of kids who just have to get to school and a lot that don't play sports...but if you lowered the population of either of those schools by 200 you'd have two teams that would be 8-2 every single year. Put Crockett and Boone kids together....heck it would be one of the best upper East TN teams from here to knoxville. Will it happen? Not likely, but I think that a Washington County High School is something that will be discussed in the next 10 years. To the game....wow I can't believe Boone called out Crockett 38-0. Humility Humility...although...this is a rivalry game and Boone won't ever forget the 70-0 first game that Crockett beat them with in this series. Crockett has to stop Sumo, but other than that, the D will be tough for Crockett to take. I say It'll be a 28-14 game with Boone winning, but it'll be a tight game most of the way. I believe crockett should be 6-3 too Greenes done a descent job I believe sometime he is a afraid to open it up and thats where some loses over the past years have came from. If they made a washinton county high it would be a great move in my opinion. Boone and crockett kids coming together with a new coach. The team would be the best i agree thats porbably y they are not going to do it can't let the county schools beat up on the city school,

Sumo still had a 100 plus in their lost to TN HIgh an Im great friends with the dc qb and evn tho they are rivals he has more respect for boone to call shots out.. He is a humble player who should make a difference in this game.

AH the musket bowl.....This will be a great game the players thrive on this game for boone this is a game to gain back some momentium and for dc its a do or die game. Records don't matter of course they dont this is a game fought for one reason bragging rights. Boones d has played great all year Crockets been ever game except one. THe question for boone is can they stop sumo. Hes a really physical back who keeps his legs drivin late in the game. I think this one is going to be won up front and who ever has the ball last. I don't think Sensabaugh will be playing Friday night. And DB probably has more playing both ways than does Crockett. I just hope its dry come game time. I don't believe db will have more going both ways. Most of the starters for dc go both ways. City school county school. We all know db has about 25 more kids out.

On the front of the Johnson City press They showed a so salled touchdown catch an the wr was clearly out of bounds but it was ruled a touchdown. You dnt have to be smart to kno that it wasn't a score.

SCience vs DC game was the wosrt ref job i think i have ever seen. IF ur too lod to keep of with the play then u should be in the stands. IF the refs where in the game they wouldnt of blew that touchdown call before half. An dc would of went into half up 12-O but its over but Science Hill fans will hacve to live with the fact they have to cheat to beat a pitty county school as they call it DAVY CROCKETT.

The east n west game is always a great one........ but im going to have to go with east 35-28 in a thriller......

does anyone know where to find the staTE stats for all teams or do they even have such a site... i know maxspreps but its only teams who update. an i believe sensabaugh is a stud still but after having a successful 9th an 10th grade year no one wants to let him loose an be made look bad so teams are jus keying on him. DB will rebuild they always do thats y they are the most winningest team tin the state.

NOw 55 u cant forget the respect for your rivials.. Science has knocked off a good soddy dasiey team n have play alittle bit tougher schdeule than dc but i will admit Crockett is playin with some heart that hasnt been at crocket since 00 but the young science hill qb is a promising player but i just dont see him throwing for 300 because dc's free safety is not going to allow that, he is a stud who has one or more picks in the past three games playing in their week secondary but the sh qb should have a descent game dont get me wrong . To be honest i beleve Sumo predicts his own outcome , i dont see anybody on SH defense who could stop him much less slow him down, yes SH is better than the 3 teams they beat an he still ran for more than a 100 in the TN high game (leading all rushers that game) but i think Sumo will step up to plate because he teams depends on him. Like i said before a war in the trenches will produce the winner but good luck to both teams . GO DC

I think science hill used to play crockett when liberty bell had a football team too what was its thu 76ers. but i think if the pioneer defense steps up an puts some pressure on that young qb it will cause some ints, crockett had 6 picks lats week.i dont think science hill has the fire power TN high did but if the pioneer d doesnt step up it will be a long night for them...but if the toppers d doesnt step up then count on number 34 running all over the place.....its a game where the outcome will b produce in trenches........SH 24 DC 28 but really its a toss up good look to both teams.

Dobyns Bennet is DB but Daniel Boone is going to show Y they deserve to have the same intials. Coach Jenkins does a good job of gettin teams out of there comfort zone an in to his game plan. I think it will be a great game for friday.........Volunteer has a great young runner in Devin Rogers but if thu pioneer d can step up an stop him.....it will be a long night for volunteer. Dc just needs time to excute their play an they should be fine.........Chropee should have a good night overall......but it depends on the qb (Michael Gillen) for Dc he threw 3 picks last year (2 in the red zone) if there is less turnovers its going to be a good night to be a David Crockett fan....

It might be a shootout.............Crockett has a few standouts but if it comes to defensive stands i think crockett will edge out cocke county.....I just want to know how they plan to stop Crocketts RB Chropee Sumo last year he run for over a 100 against them an the quarterback had over 200 yards of total offense(all as juniors).......I think DC has to many weapons on O for CC..........
