Actually, You have to stop both Hassells. They work together like clock work. Everybody is so focused on Jasmine that they ignore Iashia until it is too late. If Jasmine is covered, she dumps the ball to her sister and in it goes. If Iashia is open, Jasmine dumps the ball to Iashia and in it goes. Also, for whatever reason, people go over Iashia's back a lot and she gets the foul. I haven't figured that one out yet. Ok, I have a question--why is it that when anybody brings up the fact that Johnny only plays 7 and then points out that West has 2 EXTREMEMLY PHYSICAL and tiring away games in a 3 game schedule next week on top of 3 games last week,that there is always somone assuming that they are whining about playing time for their baby???? It is only COMMON SENSE that the starting 5 plus 2 are going to be tired by Friday, especially after the charged, physical game that Thursday is going to be. The whole point of my post was that West could very easily get beat next week, not that my "baby" isn't playing enough!! West could very well lose next Friday. They have 3 games next week--Sullivan South on Monday, Bruiser South Green on Thursday, and Killer Cocke on Friday. They will be exhausted on Friday unless Johnyy does more liberal subbing than he has been lately. They played 3 games last week as well along with practice today. Good point--I would put Uppeman against anybody and McMinn Central. Obviously there are biases from people doing the ranking.

I wouldn't base anythin based on Lausanne if I were you. They came over here to little ole East TN and got their buts whipped in a nice fashion by our teams. I was not impressed in any way, shape, or form by their team. Quite disappointed in their showing.

Oak Ridge and Memphis are similar in play. If they both get that far it will be a very close game. It will be interesting to see who make it, and then the bracket draw.

Your starters except for Hensley all play AAU just like every other team. Who won the Gville East game and how did Jeff Co. do?

I have a question about Livesay and East. I have heard that at the beginning of the games he states the Bruce is the head coach and then Bruce is allowed to coach as long as he keeps doing that. I guess that is ok?? Also, why did he say that he had a "young team" last week or so in the paper? East is anything but young except the point guard. You have the entire team which is mostly junuiors and seniors AND the team is huge!! You have a bunch of brutes out there. You have Hale, Leeper, Orrick, and the sometimes dirty player (ha ha) in Blaylock. What is not jelling in that team??

I understand where you are coming from ghssbballfan, but I think that you are having a bit of wishful thinking about Gville minus Dickson. I think that Webb is learning that lesson this year without Glory. We don't do well without Hall--as has been proven over and over again. As good as Goins and the rest of the team is, they can't do it without Hall. That has been proven about 3 times now this season. And, like it or not, you will be the same without Dickson. Glory, Dickson, and Hall are the difference makers on otherwise very good teams. They need the very good teams or else they don't make a difference, either. Take Hall last year at Claiborne before she quit--she was great but Claiborne was still bad. As good as she was she couldn't make the team good.
