i went to this game. a great game!!! where are all the clarksville haters from this weeks thread... oh yeah they left at halftime!! maybe next year, but for now clarksville northeast is running yall town.

you get shut down by shelbyville, then beat northwest of all teams and all of a sudden your going to win a region with beech, rossview, and chs. i dont think so

okay, its homecoming week for northeast, which always tend to be a distraction week for teams. kenwood is 1-3, coming off a win vs northwest and the eagles are 2-2, losers of 2 straight games vs tough competition. you have to think that northeast is the way better team, but sometimes losing streaks can cause division in a team, so who wins this one and who are the players to watch. i say northeast wins 27-7

okay, region matchup between two times trying to prove they belong. Northeast is coming of a heartbreaking game in which they made "key" mistakes and killed themselves, while centennial is coming off a 2 point win over siegel. i dont know much about centennial, but i know there qb is fast as lighting. the qb battle will decide this game, as both are great runners and are trying to establish a stable passing game. so who wins this one and gets a good start to the region season.

actually..............It was said that the eagles players were standing outside of the band locker room that your talking about, and were waiting to get in ( with their coaches there) one of the chs coaches had a key but it " did not work" or "wasnt the right one", so no, it was not the coaches because they were right there waiting but no one from chs tried to get another key or open the door another way, northeast was told to go to the back.

Clarksville 10 Northeast 6 Great Game it came down to the very last play on an exciting 80 yard drive by the eagles, but the cats defense held. i expected this game to be a shootout but i was wrong. but i was not pleased by the way the eagles were treated, it was rediculous. i know the coaches from northeast coached at chs last year but the way those kids were treated today was rediculous and if you were there you would agree. Clarksville is a great big school and i know they have more than 1 locker room, but i get to the game and the northeast team is out there 2 hours before the game in the back of the field in the woods in 90 degree heat with the water bottles they brought!!!!!!!!!!!! i could not beleive that. there is no excuse for chs doing that to them, they looked fine when they came out but you could tell they were a little tired, im not making excuses and chs won but kids should not be punished for schools vandettas against former coaches. i know i sat on the away sideline but the the chs refs were paid IN FULL for todays performance they sinlge handly decided the game. okay i know sometimes refs get calls wrong but the 4th quater call was unacceptable. its 4th down, the score 10 6, the eagles qb runs around and dances his way into the endzone to take the lead!!! everybody is jumping up and down and out of nowhere they throw a flag. so were like okay, its a celebration penalty, BUT NO THE CALLED ILLEGAL FORMATION!!!!! how in the world do you throw a flag for illegal formation after the play is over, isnt that supposed the be called before the play or it least during the play. but no they dont throw it until miller scores. dont say it took him time to throw the flag it because miller ran side to side like 3 times and then ran 20 yards, that play took like 20 seconds!!!! there were some other horrible calls that i wont even talk about. i know chs is the "king of clarksville" but what happened tonight was rediculous and im not the only one that thinks that. good luck to chs and the refs for the rest of the season, and good game to the chs players because it was not there fault and they played fair and hard but what i saw tonight was terrible. And no, i do not have a kid on the football team, but i do keep up with sports in clarksville and that was by far one of the worst called games i have ever seen........

Northeast 31 Columbia 14..... looks like the eagles are for real, next up chs, should be a good one

predictions?????

okay last year columbia won 29-20, and the year before 17-14, so i assume this game will be close. both teams are trying to prove that they are for real this year. Northeast suprised everybody when they beat rossview 21-6 and Columbia beat spring hill 51-14. Though these are both good wins, rossview and spring hill are no where near the region 6-5a teams to come. So who wins this game and who are the players to watch for each team??

this one is hard to call because northeast is such a mystery. we really dont know who they really are because scrimmages dont tell the true story. it is obvious though that they are better. they seem to have worked on there tackling because last year they were horrible. as for rossview, they have a lot of speed in the backfield but they seem to always be inconsistent. this game has been dominated by the hawks the last 3 years, and i expect this to be a great game. i just a see a swagger about the eagles that i have never seen before. they may not win against the brentwoods and franklins but i think they will win this one in a great game 24-21

week 1 is upon and clarksville teams teams are ready to battle. both teams have looked pretty good in the preseaon, but nothing really matters till the real thing. so, will we see rossview make the first step toward a playoff bid, or will we see the new look northeast pull of the so called upest. i figure this will be the game of the week for clarksville, this is usually a big game, though rossview has won the last 3 times, but with the speed of these teams i expect it to be a shootout, who ya got????

last night, Stewart County, Northwest, and Northeast Scrimmaged each other. Im not sure who won the first game, someone said stewart county won, not sure what the score was. Then Stewart County played Northeast. Northeast easily ran down the field with no problems, the varsity scored three long td runs, but one was called back, then northeast jv scored a td. Last game was pretty good between Northwest and Northeast. There was a lot of fire at the beginning, it brought back memories of the days when northeast was in 4a and they were huge rivals. Northwest came out with the intensity and drove down field on the first drive for a td. After that, Northeast and Northwest exchanged turnovers. On the last play of the game for the varsity, Northeast qb threw the ball down the sideline to the wide out in the endzone and the receiver made a great catch with one hand while his other hand was being grabbed, they made the extra point and won 7-6. then northeast jv pounded northwest jv. northwest threw 3 int and had a fumble returned for a touchdown. overall for clarksville, both northeast and northwest look better than they did last year.
