Franklin wins this in big fashion! Hunters Lanes is a good team but have dropped 2 out of their last 3 games and had a devastating loss to HHS this past friday which made them end up having to go on the road for the playoffs. So we will see if they can recover! My Prediction: Rebels 35 Warriors 14

I completely agree with you man! The williamson county schools they think are head and shoulders better than all the region 5 teams. Yes I mean they are better than the metro schools, who isnt? BUt anyways Gallatin and HEndersonville are out to prove to region 6 this year exactly how tough the sumner county schools are!! Although I am a die hard Hendersonville fan, I am pulling for Gallatin to get to the Quarterfinals and the Same for my boys in the Ville so they can have an old fashioned rematch while the all the Williamson County schools have to sit back and watch us play! Don't get me wrong I think all the Williamson County schools are good tough football teams, but so are the Sumner county teams from Region 5. Anyways enough of all this talk back to HHS vs RHS Its obvious ppl on here arent giving the Commandos much of a chance even though they won 9 games this year abd are the Region Champs! Yes we all know that Ravenwood tends to play the spoiler in the playoffs, but if you look at it so does Hendersonville! I mean in 2006 upset Franklin at Franklin in the first round. Also in 2003 when Hendersonville made it all the way to the Quarterfinals after finishing the regular season at 5-5. So i mean both teams know how to play and get the job done when it counts. Hendersonville is undefeated at home and has a ROWDY student section that is loud the whole game! Both teams will show up ready to play but I believe Hendersonville wins this one because they are playing with a chip on their shoulder this year. Yeah they won REgion but those boys are out for me!

Well i Honestly do not see Hunters Lane beating Hendersonville by 10, I mean come on now! It will be a dog fight untill the end for both teams having the chace to take home the region title. Provided Hunters Lane would still need help from their green wave boys! Not sure exactly how the atmosphere will be like? I know Hendersonville will bring a good crown but do not know about the Lane. I remember in the 2006 playoff game Hville had fans sitting on the HUnters Lane side because we brought so many. BUt the fans did not matter for the outcome of that game. All in all I see the boys in Black and Gold going on the road and pulling out yet another victory and bring the REgion Title back to Hendersonville where it belongs!!! Go Commandos

I love how you say look at the last few years. Well lets see in 2006 I believe region 5-5a went 3 and 1 against region 6-5a and we should have swept yall so i mean anything can happen in the playoffs. And if you think now look at 2006 again where the number 4 Hendersonville seed went to Franklin the number 1 seed and beat them. Guess yall were pretty strong that year huh? not! But anyways I am not trying to start a war of words, all I am saying is why do you think region 6-5a is so much better? ANything can happen once a team gets into the playoffs. It all depends on how bad they want it! I'm sure the playoff games between these two regions will be great but they are still two weeks away. SO if you wanna talk about the playoffs start a new post. Because this one is about Hendersonville and Gallatin. Now back to the HHS vs. GHS game. Looks like it is going to rain which will make for an even more unforgettable game. It is now one day away and I can not wait any longer. I hope to see a well fought game that comes down to the wire. NOt going to make any predictions but however I will be cheerin for the Commandos of Hendersonville

Don't Hate on Hendersonville because it is going to be awfully sad when Hville takes it too your boys from Gallatin. ANd then on saturday to celebrate we all take our yachts out for a little victory excursion.

This game will go down in the books as one to remember forever! It is going to be a classic slobberknocker between The Commandos and The Green Wave. I expect the crowd to be like it was the last time when GHS came to Hendersonville in 2006 when they were undefeated and HHS was 5-3. Also the game was on CSS. But the stands were completely packed on both sides during pregame warmups it was intense... Not to mention so was the game. I expect this game to be not too high scoring but not low scoring as well, considering both teams have good offenses but stout defenses as well. Impact players for Gallatin our Matthews and Holder while Hendersonville's our Yazzie and Murrell the main running back for the Black and Gold. Also do not forget the QB Hall and Zach Hill the INT leader in sumner county with 5 i believe. I of course have to go with the boys in the black and gold, Hendersonville will take this one by a narrow margin. Dont be surprised if you see overtime in this one either.

Hendersonville Commandos-24 John Overton Bobcats-7 The Black and GOld move to 7-1....technically 5-1 due to the ineligible player.......but more importantly they move one step closer to the region title!

The Commandos of Hendersonville with another big win! They have not lost a game since August. Why you might ask? Because they are a TEAM each and every week they play as a TEAM and do not rely on one aspect of their game. They are a team to be reckoned with over the next three games to end the season. I sure would love to see the boys in black bring home the Region Title which is very possible. Hville travels to Overton next week which should be a victory if they come out and play hard and execute. While Gallatin vs. Hunters Lane ought to be an outright brawl untill the end. My predictions HHS defeats Overton......While the green wave shock the Warriors from Hunters Lane who i might add wear the spears on their helmet the wrong way!

I fully believe the Commandos will show up ready to play when August 22nd rolls around. I also heard the portland mopped the floor with SC in a scrimmage? Any reports on that.

The commandos not only need a win for a shot at a home playoff game they also need a win to get the momentum in their favor heading into week 11. I think hville can make a little noise this year if they focus on the task at hand and get it done!!

Gallatin comes into this game after having played their best game of the season by far. I expect Gallatin to take care of business and get it done. But i do have one question will Butler be playing against the Raiders? If not this my make a difference! MY PREDICTION GALLATIN-24 MCGAVOCK-17

The only way this would happen is if hville lost this week and so did gallatin and overton wins. Which Mcgavock would get 2nd and then these three tems would be fightin for the last two spots. The first thing the ylook at is region record all the teams are 4-3. then overall record all the teams are 4-6. Then you look at head to head, well it cancels out because hville beat overton, overton beat gallatin, and gallatin beat hville. Then you look at who beat the most teams with a winning record. Overton would have beat 0 teams with a winning record. Hville would have beat 0 teams with a winnning record. And gallatin would have beat 0 teams with a winnning record. I have no idea what is after that i will check tssaa website.

Well if this whole hunters lane thing is true Antioch will be region champs. The rest of the region looks as follows: 2. Gallatin 4-2 4-5 overall 3. Hendersonville 4-2 4-5 overall 4. Mcgavock 4-2 4-5 overall 5. Overton 3-3 3-6 overall with hillwood, glencliff, and hunters lane with no chance at playoffs. So i'm not sure what the scenarios are.
