When was the last time Rockwood did not play everyone in the county????? If you can't stand the heat.............

I'll answer your question, every Roane County team should play every other Roane County team every year. Not pick and choose the one's that you think you can beat. Since you brought it up, Midway has a better program than OS as of late. I repeat, if Rockwood did the exact same thing OS is doing, I would be ashamed.

You girls can put any spin on it you want if it makes you feel better about yourself. The fact remains that you do not participate in Roane County football because you can not keep up.

Let me ask you a question coach, are Rockwood and Alcoa in the same county?

If a student can not process the material presented, you modify the curriculum. Does this concept apply to your football program????????

When an assistant coach controls the program, they change his title to Head coach. It is obvious you have not been around team sports.

You have an interesting quote "are you afraid they will get the program turned around and beat your team?" They can't beat us if they won't play us, genius!!!!! Are you the kind of program that will only play you on the years when they think they can beat you????? That is a great lesson to pass along to your players.

Last time I checked the head coach makes coaching and personnel decisions not the assistant, hence the name "assistant". Talking to you is like trying to explain lifes complexities to a child. I bet you were the best waterboy, or maybe cheerleader, Bledsoe County ever had.

So let me see if I understand this correctly, Midway is the only county team OS is playing????????? Wow that is really teaching your kids to compete. I just believe in calling a spade a spade. If Coach Webb does the same thing next year that OS is doing this year, guess what - he is a wimp too! But you and I both know, he wouldn't do that, because he is not scared to play in county. Maybe OS should just drop the program all together.

Does Bledsoe Co. have a Spring game scheduled? I am trying to set the over/under on how bad Rockwood beats up on you guys.

I think this is sending a terrible message to the boys. We can no longer compete in Roane County, so we are going to "water down" the schedule. These kids deserve better than that. I am still waiting on someone, anyone to give me just 1 good reason for this change and I will post no more on this topic!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe OZ can start a powder puff flag football league, or just get annexed by Morgan County.

I don't understand how you can pass on playing COUNTY teams to go elsewhere, other than being scared. Maybe you can change your mascott from the Bobcats to a slang name for a cat, if you catch my drift. Give me one good reason why OS would do this and I will shut up!!!!!!!!!

Is OS playing any middle schools this year????? Maybe they can play Rockwood Middle since they are scared to play the local high school teams.

cry, cry, cry.............so how has that been working out for you?????? Rockwood would not go through a losing stretch like that because our kids are tough. The tigers are coming to Pikeville to kick your tails this season, and I will be there to watch it.

I did not intend to lump everyone into the same category, please accept my apology. The actions and attitudes of a vocal few are reallly creating difficulties for your whole community. They have good intentions but are extremely misguided as far as an appropriate and effective way to bring about change. I feel sorry for the folks like you that have to pay the price for the garbage that that these neanderthals spew. I understand that every program has its neysayers, even Maryville has a group, but I just have a funny feeling that the first time the Bledsoe offense/defense/spec. teams does not perform well - it is going to be because of politics, admin, etc..........Then we go round and round in this viscious cycle. Your predicament is a catch22.........these fools whine because they can not get a coach from outside the program, and you can not get a coach from outside the program because of the whining fools. Good luck Warriors, my Rockwood Tigers will be ready.

Once again...........After reading this thread, which is just the same as all of the others, why would someone want to leave another coaching job to come to Bledsoe and put up with this junk????????? And I don't want to hear the blood, sweat, and tears and winning tradition story that many of you love to tell over and over. The tradition that you are building now is a bunch of miserable whiners that love bashing the coaches. Perception is reality, and this is how you are perceived to outsiders like myself.

OS should be scared of their own shadow the way they have performed the last few years. Why don't you want to play anyone on week 0?
