The score could have been much larger. Are you an idiot? Watertown player drops pass for touchdown in first quarter. Watertown fumbles on the 5 yard line on first and goal. Watertown misses a wide open receiver in the corner of the endozone in the 3rd, and miss a FG= 24 missed points. FCS had an 80 yard drive in 1st quarter for TD. Then just relied on allowing Watertown's punt returners just to not catch the ball or just give the ball back. FCS scored 17 points and possibly should have had a field goal or another touchdown for 27 points. FCS still deserved to win and Watertown's has not recruited enough talent to keep up with FCS, but hopefully we can get some people to move to our town or just stay at the school their zoned(but thats another post). Number 32 was able to run behind the miracle healing of all of FCS players in the offensive line tonight who did a great job, but 32 should have been thrown out of game after swinging and slapping a player in the side of the helme after being tackled in the 3rd quarter, this was after he had grabbed a receiver by the facemask and ripped his helmet off of him for a personal foul facemask in 1st half, and then got up a kicked a player after getting up from the pile. But if your good enough, the refs overlook such "minor" infractions. I thought Watertown "rednecks" showed a lot more character than their "upscale" counterparts in refraining from retaliating, B/C if 32 would have slapped me, I don't think I could have turned the other cheeck. He was lucky in who he slapped. Watertown had one incident in which a player lost his cool after a late hit and push by 24 and another player took up for his teammate. But such is the world of sports, You have to come to expect adversity and be able to overcome and the Tigers were overmatched up front and dominated in the special teams.
