what type of seating arangements should we expect when we play on friday night? how big is the vistors stands

FYI my son plays on the feshman team and all of the kids that played are zoned for Betsy. over 30 of those kids have played together since they were in the 7th grade and biggest majority of them played jr. pee-wee and pee-wee together. So do we have a chance of winning? Yes a small one but still a chance. If you dont think that is true look at appy state beating michigan, jacksonville state beating ole miss, so there is a chance and as for me i believe in our kids and coaches so win or lose, i will be proud of them for what they have accomplished this year. Very good year considering that we lost over 3/4 off starters fom last year. So with that said just remember that all good things must come to an end. Go Cyclones!! Be proud of what you have accomplished this year no one can take that away from you no matter what they say or do.

As for the game it will be a close football game but it think that betsy has the edge, homefield is a big hand in football games and also the drive that the coaches install in our kids is to lay it on the line and play like champions, Coach Witten will have our boys prepared for this game, no team that we will face in playoffs will have the speed or size that we have already played this year. Betsy pulls it off by 10 points then on to the next round waiting on the HV/GP winner.

Please get off of the jason witten money that he "suspossed" to give us. Sounds like that you are making excusess for your school not performing well on the field. Ole Besty get the best of everything dont we, we pay more for the coaches and better equipement and that makes us a better team. The one thing that we can say about our loses is that atleast we lost to better competition (which HV can't say),, the No. 1 team in 4-A, top 10 team in state of North Carolina, and no 3 team in 3-A, So i guess you are right we do play down, but wait a minute i think that we are in the same division as you so that menas that HV plays down also. My my my how our memory soon leaves us, i remember last year happy valley week there was " Who is Betsy? " on your school sign, then if thats not enough some of there students came into our school parking lot and tried to have a tailgate party before school and when they left the tried to do a burn out. Thats sounds like to me more trashy than what you "say we do" with out no proof, sure there are prolly some cyclone fans that go to far jus like anyother school but not everyone. If you keep talking about betsy and how you are goin to show us how to play football in 3 weeks, you might want to put yopur efforts toward south greene, you might just be suprised come friday night? So if that is "being cocky" then well i guess that i am cause in e-town we play one game at a time and it is against whoever lines up across from us.

Are you serious about the seeding of the playoffs in 3A? How can the number one seed be a team that didn even win their conference. I think that the t$$aa is worse than the BCS when it comes to the seeding of teams. I hope that the ivory castle that holds the t$$aa offices get bombared with calls and letters telling them how intelligent that they are not. I guess we will see if the no. 1 seed truly deserves to be there or not.

Looking for a close and exciting game when we roll into k-town. what is the seating like?

Agrees Ashville was a very good team and great chance for our guys to see what they have against a very well coached team. The game was closer than score showed, proud of our boys for all of the injuries that they are fighting thru

Couldnt agree with you more lawnman, but i guess that some people are so eat up with invey that they have to talk about things that they have no reason or clue about to try to get us going. Its sad that we can't even get a county JV to schedule a game the only game that i can think of playing a county school is when our 7th grade plays hamptons 8th but what do i know.

i was there last night and it is hard to believe that they played as many freshman as they said that played for greenville. We had only 3 soph playinh last night and the rest was all freshman. Greenvilles line was big and i find it hard to believe that they were freshman. Thats my take so read into it what you will but for me i say that its a shame that people get excitied when soph and few jrs and fresh beat up on fresh but what do i know. prediction for tonite closer than experts think

Less than 24 hrs to kick-off, then all these post will be a thing of the past. Coach Witten has our boys ready to come out and play their butts off. Some people on this post have trully underestimated the "Cyclone Nation" and the power of playing as a team with only one goal in mind, they have been through alot this year and are a very, very close knit bunch. When the boys from A-E come into town they will probably think that this is just a little, peacefull town but then when the hit the stadium and see all that black and orange clad fans going crazy, What will the start to feel, nerves? butterflies? pressure to keep in tact the streak of "K-town" schools beating NET Football? or all of the above. Then when Sandman starts and the crowd jumps to its feet to cheer on our Cyclones and we make our entrance to the "Cyclone Nation" members and come out as one unit for the coin toss, what will be going through their minds? Then Kick-off, to late you have entered into a place where they haven't been in a while, Its to late then, the "Nation" cheers for our boys as you get ready for the Basketball Season with a long, long ride home thanks to the "Underrated" Cyclones. Where's the love? By reading on these post some of the A-E fans seem to think that betsy should call them on Thurs and tell them not to show up because we shouldn't even be on the field with them (cause we play in NET, not as good as K-town, i guess). But i guess little 'ole betsy will have to play the game because T$$AA says we have to. It sounds like to me that some of these "posters" should realize that we dont laydown for no-one and that you will see. You will also see is an atmosphere like A-E has not seen this year, i just wonder if your young team will be able to handle such a hostle enviroment like they will see on Fri night. I've yet to read on this post (maybe i missed it) (because alot of them talk about their speed) about what A-E brings to the dance. Why should they beat us? What does A-E know about Betsy? One think i know is that Coach Witten will have a game plan to take advantage of our mismatches and explot A-E weakness. Like i said in my eariler post it will be a great ballgame but betsy will win by 6pts. Good luck to you in your travel to "cow town". I think that you are underestimating east tn. football. That is if your backs can make it to the corner we have very underestimated speed on our defencive line. The only question that i have is, Has AE seen any team with as much speed as we have. The weather forcast says that rain Wed and Thurs which may hurt the RoadRunners, We have played in a downpour in Asheville and believe me the were very fast, also played on the mudpile in Johnson Co. so we have that edge. With that said i think that Coach Witten will have the boys ready and we come out from opening whistle and lay it on the line. Betsy by 6. GO CYCLONES!!!!!!!!!!!

We have pizza, hotdogs, chick-fil-a, nachos. As far as the visitor stands they are around 10-15 rows high and go from the 20 to 20. As the bus enters Elizabethton you will pass by several resturants, fast food and pizza places.

This friday nite e-town will be rocking. I look for Hrd-fought contest from both teams. I think that we have a edge cause 1) senior night 2) homefield 3) chance to go back to glory days and finish season at 9-1 and finally 4) we have a great fan base that will make it hard for CAK to call audibles at line off scrimmage. I think that Coach Witten will have the boys ready to play Friday night. I say Betsy wins by less than 6 pts. For everyone coming into town friday night there are several places to eat if you get here early then i recommend eating at Ridgewood bbq just over the sullivan county line heading toward BMS.
