I wonder how many kids will want to transfer after he is hired? Renshaw will just be a waste of money at Dyersburg. Stowe would be better off just letting the kids run their own plays on defense. Its not like Renshaw is going to make any better or fix their passing defense for that matter. There is a good chance they will get worse. The man can not coach. DC used to be pretty decent before he got there and look at them now. One good season out seven and thats only because they switched to the spread offense and surprised people. The Northview coach keeps cranking out good players and when they get to DC Renshaw teaches them to suck. I say dont Dyersburg shouldnt hire Renshaw and that DC should have the middle school coach hired as their varsity coach. If Renshaw wants to coach then he can go play pretend on NCAA Football or Madden. Go Trojans!

Lets face it Renshaw had only one good season the whole time he has been at Dyer County. No excuses hes had talent but he cant coach period. Dyersburgs head coach hired Renshaw as his defensive coordinator at Haywood. I've heard from multiple sources that both had discussions about Renshaw being hired at Dyersburg earlier this year when Stowe was first hired. It is almost all but done with Renshaw leaving DC this season to go to Dburg.

So what do you think this team will accomplish when Adam Renshaw is hired as the defensive coordinator this offseason?

Yeah its pretty easy to throw 58 times for almost 400 yards when you run a spread offense against a team that hasnt stopped the past in 4 seasons now. Dye is just an average quarterback playing in a WEAK division. DC doesnt play anyone all season. Wins against 2 of their crap filled division games and they are in the playoffs.

Being young is not an excuse thats what all those practices and scrimmages in the offseason are for. A big chunk of those kids that played last night saw playing time last season. Here we go again with DC blaming the refs. If you want to blame somebody blame that loser of a coach Renshaw. Been there 7 or 8 years now and has only had one good season. He's always had talented kids but he's too much of an idiot to know how to coach them. DC is better off firing him and bringing in the coach from Northview.

This game will not even be close. DC will be lucky to score a touchdown on DHS. Trojans will win by 4 tds or more. DHS is loaded with talent throughout its entire depth chart. Dyer County better get ready for a rude awakening this season. Goodbye Renshaw.

I think you all need to get over what dhendren said and just accept the fact that renshaw stinks as a coach. he doesnt know what he's doing. he finally had a fluke season last year and now all choctaw supporters are putting pressure on him now to have the same results. hes been there what five or six years now? look at the talent he's had in the past. he just doesnt know how to coach. after another failing season this year he better start looking in the wanted ads. how could any coach that wasnt desperate allow a player to put on the pads when the acl was almost torn completely 3 weeks ago. he doesnt care about his players. his motto is to either look good losing rather than look bad winning. choctaws will go 3-10.

Dyer County lost all its talent? they lost one person off the offensive line. Peyton Lucas was on clarks butt all year last year. Maybe you haven't heard of jeff miller or e mac (eric mclin). the whole defensive line is returning. all linebackers are returning except BA. the only thing dc lost was their secondary and receivers except Gabriel Milan. so before you say dc lost all their talent maybe you need to do some research on who they actually lost. i dunno who all dyersburg has returning and i really don't care cause that "hackjob" renshaw will lead the choctaws over d burg again this year and leave the trojans crying on the sidelines again like last year!!!! maybe you should stay off the website and check back into reality. from what i saw tonight your choctaws were nothing more than a traditional fluke last year. you can barely do anything remotely impressive against 1a schools so what in the world makes you think that this hack off a coach will have a job after he has once again a losing season?

I went to dhs as well. why so hostile against him was it because you stunk at playing football and didnt know anything about how to play? why dont you just leave the man alone. you cant force your kid to go somewhere that he or she wouldnt feel comfortable. so why dont you back off and go root for your choctaws while they are scrimmaging against 1a and 2a schools because those are the only wins they can have to look forward to.

you actually think that dc will be top dhs? i think you need to stay above the influence and return back to reality. dc has no chance in heck with playing with the likes of dhs, covington, or haywood. and as for the move to 4a next season. i feel even worse for the dc football team wasting their time with an always failing program. theres no way that they'll survive this season or when they move up to 4a. you say that dburg has to rebuild you should hold that thought and look at the choctaws. this team lost all its talent last year. yes dburg lost some talent but they have gained more edge on the game than dc fans could even believe. dburg has plenty of talent and plenty of playmakers this year than ever. as for the response about renshaw and counce ask yourself these questions in the past fix or six years how many times did that hackjob renshaw win more than 3 games? and how many times did he make the playoffs? i think its pretty safe to say that counce's team will more than likely have a field day because its back to the old days of losing for those choctaws.

new coaching, new transfer students that will fill the running back and quaterback positions this season, and a new offense. trevor caldwell is everything as fast and strong as his brother maybe even better from what ive been told. for all the choctaw fans i just wanna say hope you loved last season because its now a thing of the past. last years team graduated all of its talent. this years team is going to be just like it was when the andre flowers era was going on. its going to be nothing more than all about number one (themselves). dc has never had well conditioned athletes so i hate to be them when they play dburg. as for jeff miller having a great season for his senior year all i have to say is that his coaches keep this kid calmed down and out of trouble for once. just think after this season dc moves up a class while dburg will move down due to all the transfer to the dc basketball bandwagon. but i do believe that after dc doesnt win at the boro once again everyone will transfer back.

Yes i do mean caldwell's little brother. this kid is bigger and faster than his brother. just in case anyone has forgotten dburg has learned a new offense every season for the past three or four years. dburg always has better offensive lineman than any other school in this region. the trojans practice what they preach and that is fundamentals. who really cares about which teams look good on paper. i said dye should go to dburg because his talents wont go unnoticed there. if he were to stay at dc he'll just get hurt in the long run. dye shouldnt have to be drug down with a program who has only had and will have one good season under a coach who has been there five or six years.

The team to beat this season just like many past seasons are the Dyersburg Trojans. The trojans have been through a ew offense and counce hired a new conditioning coach which from what ive heard has transformed this team. Its a new season under the counce era and i cant wait to see how well caldwell has evolved into a player. I have a feeling that every team they play is going to have their hands full. After this season i believe the dc bandwagon will start to die off. this team was only successful because all they had was one decent player BA Davis. Miller have fun trying to escape the shadow of davis and lucas have fun eating dirt this season. maybe dye will wise up next year and transfer to dyersburg. believe me kid nobody is going to go to watch a program who will be back to barley winning games for a pretty good while. Dont let your talent go to watse.

How lucky and sloppy of a win can you get? I was standing on my feet the whole game. That game gave me mixed emotions about what really went on with the time and the refs saying it wasnt a three and then it was indeed a three. The only part about that game that didnt get me thinking was blakes playing. After playing a game like that we know who wont will the Mr. Basketball Award. Hopefully McCord will get his players under control otherwise that great season will be worthless. All they can say is that they won district and beat dyersburg.

nobody get me wrong Justin Blake is a good player and all but the best offer this kid will get is from Austin Peay. He's no where the calibur of a player for a great sec school. he might be the best player in west tennessee but that still wont get you very far when there are even better players in middle and east tennessee.

For the past two days a lot of words have been expressed about mccord. What is the lastest on someone trying to get an investigation going about him recruiting? I've seen and watched mccord's coaching for a long time and what he needs to do is let tssaa do an investigation to shut up whoever is spreading this slander.

i have a question for all choctaw fans and players because the word going around is that the dyer county coach is recruiting. is it true that he got players from dyersburg middle and from new madrid to transfer next year? i certainly hope its not because i have respect for mccord and what he has done to a team that was always in trouble both on the court and froedens recruiting.

Well mr 73 yeah i did say alot of stuff over the year BUT im not the only one who doubted the choctaws because half the people who cheer them on didnt believe in them til the season was half way over. If im not mistaken there sure was a lot of people questioning them in the preseason and now call themselves a loyal supporter. in my opinion i have a pretty good line considering that i dont have to live on these message boards like you guys so for your smart mouth comment i have this to tell you. From what was said earlier about the DC coaches is true because ive cousin who is a freshman at DC has heard coach kendell and others say that the choctaws have to live up their remaining time left to be a good team because next year they will go back to their sucky ways. im not on here to make anyone mad or get BA's dads mouth running about how good of a team they are and were back 3 decades ago. i just thought the choctaw fans should know just what the true thoughts of the coachs are.
