This one will get ugly! Smyrna is miles ahead of Blackman. I havent heard anything about Jeremy wanting to leave Blackman, if he wanted to he would have already gone. And if he was going to leave I dont think there would be any question about where he would end up, because apparently Blackman High School sits right in the middle of the Riverdale zone...

Ok, after finding out that many players will be serving a 1 half suspension Friday night, I think im going to change my prediction. Centennial 35 Blackman 13...Looks like Blackman is headed for 0-10!

This one will get real ugly! Anyone know what the state scoring record is? Because it might be in jeopardy Friday night, because Rankin aint gonna call off the dogs. As for Mimms, who knows what will happen with him Friday night. Wells already broke one team rule for him Friday night by letting him play. He missed Monday and Tuesday's practices, and Wells made if very clear at the beginning of the season if you missed two practices during the week, you would not play of Friday. What kind of message does that send to the rest of the team?

Haha no Im not turning on my school, I think I have a pretty good idea about who changed my signature(rhshasbeen). I guess thats what I get for working with a bunch of Riverdale grads! As for my frustration...Im just stating the truth. Cave is out for a while, and without a qb they arent going to score any points. If you cant score you cant win. Once again for another year, Blackman has played two games and has yet to block ANYONE! Until they improve upfront they wont get much better. Im not turning on my boys, every Friday night that Im in town I will be sitting on the Blackman side cheering for them, but Im also going to be realistic...we have a LONG way to go.

Hahaha! Thats funny! Dont get me wrong I hope you all do hang with them. But to have a chance against Riverdale, they will have to put the ball on the ground about 6 or 7 times. Wilson Cen. may keep it close for a quarter or two, but then Riverdales depth and speed will take over. You forget, Riverdale's 2nd team could start for alot of schools!

Blackman is terrible! No disrespect to LC, but they are obviously way down this year compared to past Lincoln Co. teams. But they are very well coached, and they just know how to play. Blackman got out-played, and out-coached tonight. Im affraid it is going to be a very long season. If things dont get turned around in a hurry, I dont see any games on their schedule that they can win. And just when Blaze fans didnt think it could get any worse, Riverdale comes across town next week. Good thing I will be in Tuscaloosa Friday night. Anybody know what the state scoring record is? Because it may be in jeopardy next Friday night! If Siegel thought Rankin laid in on them, wait till they see what he does to Blackman. haha!

As for the freshmen game, It was the first one of the season so take it for what its worth, a Oakland Victory. Precious isnt the only big name on that team if you follow em throughout the season or as you found out last night with Brandon Messick and Quincy Willams. Anyways, heres hoping for a dry field tonight 825719757[/snapback] Oh I was very impressed with Oakland's freshman team. Thier line was big, the QB had a good arm on him, and Brandon Messick had himself a night just in the first half alone...He had a punt return for a TD, a TD catch, and a INT returned for a touchdown, all in about a 10 miinute span. If they can keep that group together, along with the young talent they already have over there...watch out for Oakland in the next couple of years. As for Youree, I believe he could have a big night. But who is going to get the ball to him? I just read that Forrest isnt going to play,eventhough I saw him last night and he looked alright to me. Im sure Blackman will stack the box early and make Oakland prove they can throw the ball. I know the Youree is really good, but losing your QB for the first game really hurts.

Wow priceless, sound a little confident there. I sure hope your boys back up your words, because you will sure hear about this post again if they dont! I dont think a Freshman victory is something to feel to great about. I was there until half time tonight, and Blackman is just plain terrible! But I was very disappointed with Precious. They way you all have been building him up on here you would think he was next great thing. I think the first five times he touched the ball tonight he put it on the ground. If he keeps it up Riverdale wont get him over there next year! He needs to lose a little weight, or he can trade in the 30 number for a 60 number. Oh well enough about Freshman football... Tomorrow night should be a great one. I hope all the Oakland defenders like looking at the back of #20's jersey because thats all they'll be seeing.

Im just telling you what I think after seeing both Blackman and Siegel practice this fall. How can you say that Siegel will EASILY beat anyone? Im not saying that Siegel wont beat Blackman, but Im pretty sure any win they get will a close one.

Im saying 3-7 for Siegel. 4-6 would be a heck of a year. I think the only games that are even close to being sure things are, Independence, Mt. Juliet, and LaVergne. But you never know. thumb
