Channel 5 showed the scoreboard showing 41-17 in the background while GP was running one in and they announce 41-17. It was 54-17 when I left late in the 4th.

what was the final? The sport shows are showing 35-17 but I thought it was 54-17 when I left late in the forth

The game should of been over when CPA threw an incomplete pass with 1 minute left and the ref called it a catch, then fumble. But, both teams had many opportunitys throughout the game to score and no one can blame it on the refs. I hated to see either them loss because both CPA and GP played an excellent game.

What a Game It seems like when GP plays CPA, it always rains and it comes down to the last play. Great game guys!!!!

After watching the Franklin scrimmage Friday night, seems they are a well balanced team. They seem to have the tackling down that the didn't vs Whites Creek last year. I think it should be a good one. I just hope the do a tad bit better on kickoff. Kicking it to the 40yrd line is not gonna get it.

When you are as good as Alcoa, you don't have to throw it. I don't believe they even passed the ball 1 time when they beat Maryville.

I heard Milan was loosing to York at halftime.

Congrats to Alcoa and Milan for making it to the final for a rematch of last year. Both teams have excellent football programs and I cannot wait to watch this wonderful match-up! Good luck to both teams!

Congrats to York on making it to the next round. Next week should be a great game vs Smith Co. I predicted Alcoa vs Milan in a rematch this year, but maybe there will be some sort of an upset. I just hope whoever goes against Alcoa, will give them a run for their money. I don't really see anyone staying within 21 of them, but maybe York, Smith, Camden, or Milan can. Good Luck guys

Since GP is a private school, students come from all around. No one is zoned for a private school. I would say about 15-25% come in after kindergarten. When I graduated in the late 90's, we had probably 8 students in my graduating class that did not start from kindergarten, and only 2 of them played sports. About 75% of my class all grew up in Madison and went to Madison Church of Christ. I had a female in my class that drove from KY everyday but she did not play any sports, academics only. I don't know when Cunningham started, but I know Reynolds came in 8th grade from another Christian school. I guess you could call the school and find out how many current student that didn't attend 1st grade if it is that important to you, I think for some it is. Hope it's a clean, safe game with no injuries. Hopefully it will come down to the wire. I hope all the York players and fans have a safe trip and good luck tonight!

Are y'all ready for this I know GP fans are ready, but I don't think York fans are.

WOW, looked like Goodpasture was heading for an upset going into halftime. Grundy played very will. Grundy deserves tons of credit for playing such a great game. I wonder if our star running back will play next week since he was out this week?

Hopefully the rain will not pick back up and we can play on turf instead of mud.
