It is a lot to give up if your offense is getting the job done on the field. The difference is that they weren't and the defense didn't even have time to take a break and get ready for the next series. Irish offense need to get it together for next week and hopefully a few more.

Father Ryan did come out very flat and with the offense going 3 and out on almost every series, leaving the defense on the field a lot, too much actually. Father Ryan was hurt on the defensive side this week with 2 or their 3 starting LB's out due to injury or sickness #4 and #31. Father Ryan needs to re-group and become the team they were before they played MBA and BA.

Neither is it very classy for the MBA players to say "Anyone have any cocaine?" after the game was over.

i didn't say anything about mba's defense, nor did i say anything about ryan's offense. it's pretty hard to not give up any points when you were on the field the entire first half, except for the 4 drives ryan had that went 3 and out... not to mention father ryan was without thier leading tackler. finally when the Ryan offense picked it up a little in the 2nd half and the Ryan defense wasn't out there the entire time, they only gave up one touchdown. better team that night, yes... shouldn't have beat ryan by 26 though..hopefully will get them back in the playoffs

Haha, wow i really hope you are not serious. Father Ryan also had thier back ups in early in the 2nd half of the JPII game. So by say in it is USUALLY a good game to watch, are you saying that this will not be a good game to watch this year? Also, how can you honestly say that MBA will wear down the Father Ryan team? They have to be in good shape to be 8-0, don't you think?? I'm gonna say this now, because no one has said it yet but #2 on the MBA defense is the most over rated player i have ever seen play.

Last year ryan got screwed AT mba, go figure. The refs were awful and called everything on Ryan and nothing on MBA except one offsides pentaly that was just that obvious. But last year is over and that has nothing to do with this year. You obviously have not seen Father Ryans line if you say MBA's is too strong. Both lines for Father Ryan are huge. The defensive line is huge and has quick and strong kids up front. Ryan's O line is also very big and all played last year so they have expirence. Ryan wins by 7

Ensworths defense is not good at all, they have a very small defensive front. Running backs Ryan berry and Josh Hayes will run all over them, along with QB Justin Guidrey. Ensworths offense will not be successful either. The Irish are too big up front and have very good linebackers behind them to fill the gaps. Lussier will have the Irish ready to sing the Father Ryan Fight Song after the win, Ryan by 2 touchdowns

yes he did have knee surgery but will be back at 100% on friday night...worried ensworth??
