This team doesn't have more talent than those teams that went to state. The dicipline isn't there, no zeman, no Walt, no McClain, no henderson, no saylors. There was a lot of well coached boys on those teams. If those teams were playing no it would be a cake walk to the finals.

One thing that has been done in the off season was getting the kids more physical.

I honestly felt like mc would lose last week and this one. We ended up hopefully giving the qb some confidence by giving the ball to athletes in space and running a jet. The offense could be hard to defend if there were some misdirection in it. For me, it is to predictable and will be the death of mc in the end. Mc dbs are pretty good. I like little 13 coming off the edge. Imo, I would stick 19 on the other side and come after the qb from both sides.

I am right there with you. The defense is pretty stout. Lots of athletes at the second level so they are able to cover the wrs. The offense is very very vanilla, you can tell what is being ran when they line up. Matter of fact, you could hear fcs coach calling out what was gonna be ran pre snap. To me, that's concerning. The qb has no time to throw. There is absolutely no misdirection in the offense. They did run jet sweep when Sam scored I think and they did run some swing passes to get some confidence and pressure off the qb. To be successful the offense will have to evolve or this teams ceiling will be the second round.

Can say the same about 1a. Sp may mercy rule everyone. When whitwell and sale creek are top 10 teams you know it is really weak.

I dont disagree. We will definitely miss 3. One needs to be tougher and play to his size and potential. There are lots of good athletes coming thru Marion at the moment, but hopefully they will be put in the correct position. I agree, the time is now!

He was fine, he came back in right after. Marion is junior heavy so they will probably be better next year also
