As to the TSSAA rule, we are living that nightmare right now. Son transferred to marshall from chapel hill. We've always lived in lewisburg, or on the outskirts of town, but still sitting out a year. He doesn't play football though... Been talking about it for his junior and senior year. With that, now I'm rooting for both... Marshall Co. Spring Hill Page will handle Lawrence Co. This will be a bounce back for page. They had a tough one Friday night.

Might make the rest of the season interesting if they are! Some more great trash talk to come! Lol

for what it's worth, I'm not amerigha, and I haven't discredited westy. Winning at page is a feat you wouldn't understand. It's a rivalry that goes back to DRVC days. But congrats on the w tonight.

I think h2o is up from last year, and forrest is down from last year (defensively). Forrest is better offensively than last year. Losing mr football tends to do that. I think this game is closer than most predict. There are 2 misleading scores IMO on the schedule. I'll wait for a score prediction but I think right now I'll put the over/under at 60

As I stated, just recalling what I heard on the radio. Wasn't bashing anyone. Was fun to listen too. But I distintinctly remember the announcer say that one of the flags was thrown down at the 28. And that run was from around midfield. Is that not considered downfield? As for the rockets; great job boys. Keep'em working coach.

I listened to the game. It would've been 21-0 before westy scored. The score does not reflect the the difference in these two teams. Just who executed and who didn't. I know 2 out of 3 of the long runs were touchdowns, and the other was down to around the 10. The holding calls down field are probably questionable. On the positive, they still endured and showed heart and grit to leave with w. Forrest has some great leadership.But they are younger than you would think. I said it at the beginning of the year, I think they will finish 2 in our region. But unless the region changes, no one in region 4 will avoid being mercy ruled. During the next 3 years. And I whole heartedly believe that.

Oh, if a coach is found to be in violation, he should be suspended for next scheduled game, and a fine.

Sounds pretty darn easy to me. TSSAA needs to have an official score keeper in the press box of every game. Don't count on them doing that. They are greedy. When pitcher reaches the pitch limit, he may finish the at bat. The post season needs to be changed regardless. 3 game series. It is very possible. If you think not, check out every state around us for high school baseball.

As much as I hate to see some of the rival games go, We definitely need to drop at least some of the 1a schools. And we may get bit with a reclass bug, there are some extremely large student population in some of the underclasses. Those underclassmen are going to be hard to handle when they are seniors. Their talent level is ridiculous.

Add collinwood, Wayne co, columbia acad, and cornersville. Man that was a tough region. I don't think at that time they could schedule non region games. I recall some Moore co and collinwood teams making state finals as well.

Forrest has had some individuals win state wrestling, girls basketball has a title, softball has several state titles. Baseball has some state runner ups. But I don't think they have ever made it past 2nd round in football. The talent is there, and will reload every year for at least the next 5-6 years. they may be under a new head coach this year, but don't let that fool Ya. He turned the burners off before halftime. I've watched the juniors sophomore and freshman since they were in kindergarten. Those underclass men will be a force. Amerigha, you really should lighten up on the kid. We don't treat ours or anyone else's younguns like that around here.
