I agree with wpasi and catback, both rook and the nut need to grow up and talk football and leave their junk off here. Why doesnt the "nut" just leave the tigers alone and go talk about his jackets? Oliver Springs players and coaches all did a great job last night., They were just outmanned at the end Good luck to them on the rest of the season! If someone( I wonder who I mean?) wants to say anything about the tigers then start giving your thoughts about next weeks game with Harriman. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with wapasi on this one. Congratulations to the TIGERS on their win last night. The boys from O.S. have nothing to be embarrsed about they played a great game just ran out of steam aat the end. Parsons did a good job at qb especially with the shoulder injury that he has. We missed our passing game with #1 being sidelined but we got the job done and came out with a WIN. It sure was a good thing to honor the '52 ironmen team last night. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!! GO GET THOSE HARRIMAN BLUE DEVILS NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT TIGERS!!!!! It would be great for this group of seniors to say they were undeafeted against the BD for all 4 years. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you about the kids being teenagers wanting to play a game they love. We should all stop picking on any one player and just get behind these kids and give them all the support we can. They love the game and us old coots do too. Hope to see everybody at the parade and pep rally Thursday night. Lets get behind these kids and let them kmow We're behind them and rooting for them to BEAT THOSE OLIVER SPRINGS BOBCATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I played about 40 years ago and the crowds always cheered us on and lets do the same for these boys!In case any of you tigers read these things just know that we may shoot a lot of bull and let off some steam about the play calls but we're behind you boys 100%

Hey Goose, did you get a picture of the two calls HSsportznut was talking about. I sure would love to see for sure if #4 really caught the ball as everybody said he did and about the last interception in the end zone. TIGERS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HSsportznut I heard the same thing about the call on #4s catchin the endzone. I talked to some people standing where they had a clear view and they said it was on his leg and he caught it before it ever hit the ground. One was from a Kingston fan who said he was glad the ref made the wrong call but Rockwood really got robbed of the touchdown. Its sad when a bad call determines the outcome of a game but it happens all the time. Too bad high school cant afford instant replay like the colleges and pros. I sure hope the tigers dont let homecoming get in the way and they come out fired up and take care of those cats early. Everybody needs to come out to the pepralley down at the complex and support these boys and help keep them fired up. After 3 big emotional games and the heartbreaking loss to Kingston and the big win that OS had over Coalfield what's everybodys take on this game. I hope the tigers don't let all the fun of homecoming week take their minds off this key district game because the cats always play us tough!! If they get distracted this could be another heartbreaker. Normally I would say this would be a walk in the park for Webbs boys after the way the've looked against their other opponents but this is a fired up OS team and they would love to come into Rockwood and spoil the tigers homecoming.KEEP FOCUSSED!!!!!!!!!!!! I heard that "Bear" Bryant Allen is the coach for his girlfriends powder puff game..Better be careful #44 because after hearing her deep voice cheering at the sweetwater game I think she could probably take you. I just hope this young man grows up and sees because some fans are being obnoxious he doesn't have to be the same way!! I'm a tiger fan win or lose and Im proud of the boys on this team. Nobody can say those players didnt want this game as much as kingston. If they hadn't wanted it as bad they would have quit when they were behind and everything was going wrong. wpasi, have you ever been a football coach? You better check out the other teams and watch their coaches when a player makes a mistake. They sure ain't waiting on the sidelines to give them a big hug!!! I didn't mean to put #44 down when I complained about the first play of every game was a run up the middle. He is a fine young man and one of the best ballplayers to ever wear a Rockwood Tigers uniform. I believe this team has a great year ahead of them if they keep on playing the way they have been playing(minus the mistakes like they had last night) This team has shown they ain't a 1 man team,they play team ball and that is wh

tough loss tonight for the hometeam. You can't give a team the gift of 3 touchdowns and come out on top. Should have been Rockwood 18-Kingston 7. I really believe boys that the tigers were the better team but mistakes cost them. Everyone in the stands knew the first play from scrimmage tonight for the tigers was going to be a handoff to #44 to run up the middle. Come on coach I know he is a great player but when the whole opposing team knows what the play is going to be and the line does very little blocking then even superman doesn't have a chance. Be creative!! How about suprising everyone and maybe open up with a long pass or something unexpected. I'm not a coach but do something different!! I don't know what on earth Brazeale was thinking on his little pitchout to nobody or whatever it was suppose to be to give Kingston a touchdown.MISTAKES,MISTAKES,MISTAKES !!!! I was very disappointed in the lack of class that Brazeale showed after he threw his last interception. The coaches need to have a long talk with this young man on how to act. Put this game behind you and get ready for the rest of your games. You have a team that could go a long way in the always tough region 2AA. Hold your head high keep playing tough.You still have a great year ahead of you!!!!!!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!

Good game tonight tigers! And everbody said you didn't have a chance against those big ole sweetwater boys and all their speed! You had everybody on pins and needles but we knew you would pull it out. Hope everybody came out injury free on both sides of the field. Maybe next game you can just play the 11 on the field and not the refs too! They tried their best to make you lose but you came out on top. Go get those jackets next week, we want that roane county trophy back in Rockwood!!!!!!!!!!!!
