  1. Too many west Tennessee teams. But i'll take your word on it, that it's 100% correct.
  2. Well someone stayed up past their bedtime. Don't take everything so offensive. I do agree that "Eubanks is in (the) upper echelon of coaches in the midstate," aside from Rector.
  3. I agree that it's sad that there isn't near as much interest in this game as there was in past ones. But then again the talent level at the two schools isn't what it was 2 and 3 years ago. Indy doesn't have Darnell, Pettgrew, and Consiglio; nor does Ravenwood have either of the Beckers, TC, and Cleckner. This is a MUST WIN for Independence. They must come out in full force on both sides of the ball. The coaching edge goes to Rector, with no disrespect to Eubanks. However, as a whole I think the Indy team is more talented. Indy must contain Rowland otherwise it will be a very long night. Prediction Indy 24 RHS 23
  4. Just to add on to that list, assuming we are talking about the entire region. I would put the Cunningham boy from NE probably in front of Scales.
  5. Just for clarification, you are referring to jail?
  6. Yes it was Jonathan Walker. What happened to him?
  7. Good to see he is still playing ball. He is a tremendous athlete.
  8. I think it's both obvious that NE has made improvements in their program, but are also not ready to hang with the big boys in region 6.
  9. Maybe it was the year before. I think he only played one year but was solid the year he played.
  10. I think that might be a stretch. I would take McCurdy from Brentwood, Mikrut from Franklin, Becker from Ravenwood, and Chaz (based purely on his athletic ability) from Centennial before I would take no. 7. But that's not to put the kid down, just my opinion. I do agree that 2, 3, 7, and 10 are all playmakers for the Eagles.
  11. What was the name of the running back that played for SHHS in the 05-06 season. I think he was a junior that year but I could be mistaken.
  12. So looking towards the end the most likely scenario for the way the region finishes out is 1 Brentwood 2 Franklin 3 Centennial 4 Ravenwood 5 Independence But a lot of football is unfinished. It might be just as likely that this is not the way the region finishes out.
  13. I am not Nick's father either. I still to this day think Nick would have been the better option. Whether or not you agree with this, I think he should have had a shot in a game this year (besides Franklin where he accounted for all 3 of the teams TDs). But they still have a chance to finish out real strong and make the playoffs. The season is not over.
  14. They still have the capability of winning out and making the playoffs. Now whether or not that will happen is a question that is up in the air.
  15. I couldn't agree more. Unless he completely goes into self-destruction mode he already has the region MVP sealed in the bag. I hope this post doesn't go to his head either.
  16. I'm going to go ahead and say that Ravenwood and Ensworth aren't on the same playing field. They are evenly matched as far as coaching, but the two team tandum over at Ensworth puts them far above Ravenwood. Just my opinion.

  18. Now those were the days. Great times, even if Page wasn't exactly on top. Outside of Brentwood Academy and Brandan Wright that was the best basketball in Williamson County when Giles came to town in the last 5 or 6 years.
  19. No talk about this one. I guess everyone knows the results already.
  20. It is just simply my observation, along with many others at the games this season. But I hope you prove me wrong, because an energetic atmosphere at a game reflects positively on the game itself.
  21. ??? I find that hard to believe???
  22. Most importantly my prayers go out to Johnson and I hope he has a full recovery. Secondly your statement about being the "loudest crowd in middle TN" might be as far from the truth as can be. But I have an open mind; and I too hope the next three games are different as far as the crowd noise, energy, etc.
  23. Don't think this is directed just at you, but the problem is what you stated above in that the game was so ugly and there is no way you could stay in it. I think a better or more positive approach needs to be taken regarding the fan base.
