  1. I hate to break it to everyone but the Chargers of the past few years are gone. The talent has gone down and the coach of those players that motivated them to each at a high level each week has left and the lack of success is a direct result of their coach that gave them the best chance to win ballgames not being there anymore. So as bad as I hate to say it... we're just gonna have no choce but to get used to those 2-8 and 1-9 seasons Charger fans.
  2. First of all, Central and Polk cannot even be compared on the same level simply because of the fact that the Chargerettes have wore them out on a consistent basis all year long... 3 times and make it 4 after Wednesday night! Central has a great chance for a run to the state title this year, but poor ole Polk... they should just feel lucky to make it as far as they have. I would hate to be a Polk fan and have to take the beating they are going to recieve from Upperman in the Sub-State game!
  3. Yeah I would hafta agree there's nothing like catching that game-tying TD or making the game-winning tackle on the 1 yd line. When you go out there you've gotta keep one thing on your mind... "48 minutes to play and a lifetime to remember."
  4. McMinn Central- 55 Grundy Co.- 6 FINAL Bring on Polk!
  5. Central had collegiate signees too and are doing just as well...
  6. MCMINN CENTRAL !!! The only "Central" thats on Oliver Springs' schedule.
  7. Oh no, there was nothing accidental to it. Believe me the "Chumps" will be beat by the Chargers for my years to come. They'll learn to like it eventually...
  8. Just get used to Meigs being at the bottom because thats where they're going stay. Now that the Chargers have regained the top spot that's where they're gonna stay !
  9. Nice pick... I'm goin with the Chargers as well in this one.
  10. You probably don't even know who his dad is but regardless everyones hates Polk Co. no matter where they're from. So yeah he might've been cheering for the Chargers.
  11. That was Memphis blue ya DA. His son does play baseball there...
  12. you heard right that's what happened
  13. Believe me Starr would play every day if he could. He asks every tuesday if he can play third but coach says there's no need to risk hurtinh his arm, just in case. It's the coaches decision to sit him the next day, not his. And for my prediction... Chargers all the way. Polk folds the tent just like years past. The Big Blue is fired up and ready for tourney time !!!
  14. The tarp went on after practice today and will stay on til the rain is out of here. Even if it does rain alot the field drains quite well and should ready to go for Saturday.
