  1. What does McMinn look like for next year? I notice alot of returning starters but did lose a couple key position players.....Wonder if the offense will change much now that Johnson is not at the Helm...I also heard rumors of someone getting kicked off the team....what do yall think?
  2. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "farragut had many chances to put mcminn away". I was at that game and Sterling was the only reason the game was even close. I will say that Farragut plays harder than any team McMinn will face besides Blount. Just looking at talent, Oak Ridge should be unstoppable but I think their coach doesnt know how to use his players. Looks like he got scared against Blount and stopped getting the ball to his playmakers. Just an opinion but if you have that much talent and size but not a great qb, keep running the ball and throw the quick stuff.
  3. We know Farragut will beat Bearden, but what about when Farragut plays Soddy or McMinn? Soddy has been holding back their weapons. New kid just transferred in. I will take Soddy by 14 over Farragut. McMinn by 7.
  4. The only reason Ooltewah had 200 yds passing is because of shovel pass to Marshall. Soddy's secondary will pick Ooltewah's QB apart. Pick after Pick. Should Ooltewah be called Ooltewah Marshalls? We know Soddy will shut down Marshall so that might put Ooltewah out of the playoffs.
  5. Ok, just wait and see. Just like McMinn should have beat them, Soddy wont have any problems.
  6. Not gonna like this prediction but Soddy will more than likely beat Ooltewah by 10 or more. Watch out for some players they havent shown much
  7. I know its early but just a prediction. After seeing Rhea Co, they will beat Cleveland by 28 easy.
  8. Does Cleveland have any standouts? From what I have noticed they seem to spread the ball around to 3 or 4 players. All 3 backs run the ball for them and they like to throw to one receiver. I get the impression they like to grind it out alittle.
  9. I honestly dont see how Cleveland is going to keep up with McMinn. But from what I remember, last year it was the same way. McMinn should have easily beat Cleveland but didnt. So you really cant count cleveland out. McMinn has a bad problem with turning the ball over. Shouldnt be a very close game but it prolly will be.
  10. On the topic of is McMinn's JV and Freshman that bad? I thought I noticed both McMinn and Ooltewah both having several athletes. McMinn's offense is tougher to learn for JV and Freshman compared to mostly running the I. But overall I thought Ooltewah tackled a lot better and looked better upfront.
