I hate that some Owls act like this is The Jerry Springer Show. My apologies to the mature Owls fans who get categorized into the idiot file. Many fans are mature posters who don't act like children. Go Owls!

This seems like the longest week ever! Can't wait til Friday night. The coaches and the team will be ready for whatever Farragut has to offer. Thanks for saying "some" of their posters. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> Most Owls fans know that during the playoffs, with teams like Region 2 has, no game will be a blowout. We won handily against Soddy and Farragut in the regular season, but......Good coaches adjust their strategies when playing a team that has beaten them. No one, that I know of has ever said that Farragut is not a very good team. WIth that said, I do believe the Owls have the tools to beat them again, just by a much smaller margin. The Owls have a lot of potential that has just not been executed well this year, but we have used what we can execute to the best of our ability. They did what they had to do to win ball games. They know that Farragut will come in to "our house" and be fired up as well. If the Owls run on all cylinders Friday night, they can win by 10-14 points...if not I look for it to be a 4th quarter nail biter, with the Owls on top by 3. The Team is fired up this week and really want this game.....hopefully they will come out and go to work. The Nest will be rockin' come Friday night and the Owls know that the community will support them in full force...win or lose(WIN, Win, Win /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> )None the less, they should enjoy it for all its worth, the Time of their "young" lives! They all have to grow up soon, and these will be memories of great high school years for all of them. Go Owls!

Of course as an Owls fan I am going to say that Owls come out on top /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> What else would I say? I do think this is going to be a great game between two very strong teams. Bottom line is that it will come down to which team wants it the most and which team can execute. Either team is capable of winning. It will come down to the 4th quarter and the owls will win with a John Long field goal. Owls defense will be fired up and will be taking no prisoners. Its going to be a very LOUD night in Hooterville(and cold too). If you don't come ready to stand and cheer the whole game, don't bother coming at all. GO OWLS!!! Owls 10 Admirals 7

Great game Owls! Loved every minute of it....except fo the darn penalties. Soddy played a great game, but someone has to lose. I was very impressed with them in the first half. Owls defense played excellent. This is an exciting bunch of boys to watch. How about the kick off of John Long going thru the uprights?????? He's the man! To the refs, dancers, cheerleaders....you guys all did a great job of getting the crowd to cheer. Sure we missed the band, but great job. Let's do it again next week. Go Owls

ANyone who lives in Ooltewah knows that the growth is on the the OHS side of town. There are no less than 500 new homes/ subdivisions on the oHS zone. With VW coming, and OHS being a great school, I expect alot of those affordable house to be sold. Ooltewah has 1909 students this year. I expect, as do some others, that OHS will never fall below 1500 and even that amount will grow. The new school is for 1500 students grade 6-12. Actually, I am wrong...the student body at OHS next year should still be 1700+

in the first few years it will take very few away, because the kids are grandfathered in if they already attend OHS. The student body at OHS next year will probably still be about 1500-1600. Upcoming 9th graders that are zoned for the new school must attend there.

Can't wait for the game. They are calling for rain....might be a messy night. I think the Owls are PUMPED UP! Go Owls!

TribeFan......Here's some love from Ooltewah. I wish you the best of luck. I have always been a McMinn fan and NEVER a Farragut fan. Now Farragut is a good team, but the Tribe CAN beat them if they play their "A" game. Play your best game, and maybe we will as well and we can meet in the playoffs! Go Tribe GO OWLS!!!

TPoole....I was wandering when you'd make an appearance. As someone else said, you are ALWAYS elcome on our threads. As for keeping me out of trouble, that remains to be seen. Benny has that job....thank goodness. I expect this to be a good game....too close for my comfort. My blood pressure rises everytime we play...for no good reason. Soddy will be ready for us. The Owls will come out on top, and they don't for one minute think this will be a game like the last one. Both teams are on a mission to continue with the playoffs, and will come out fired up. Game tickets are on sale in the attendance office at the school tomorrow and Thursday til 2 and Friday til noon. Let's get behind the team and get ready for some football. I spoke to several Cougar fans tonight. They were very nice and came to support their team. I know it was a long way to travel. I'm sorry you lost (but gad we won). I hope everyone has a safe trip home. The owls need to start working on next week. I do not think it will be an easy task. Soddy will not make the same mistakes twice. Go Owls!

I heard that the PTSA is selling Owls umbrellas at the game tonight for a fundraiser.
