Good Luck Oakland! You deserve to win it ALL. I hate that the Owls couldn't give you more of a run for your money, but that's football. Your team outplayed us hands down.

RUMOUR has it that many teachers will be unemployed next year. How sad is that? Heard on the radio that the Owls still lack 3 games next year. What a pity that we can not get games scheduled. I love Owls football and would love to see 10 games on the schedule next year.

We all know that favorites don't mean anything in the playoffs. Just look forward to a GREAT game....for both teams. I have said all along, Owls by a field goal in a low scoring game. If Oakland gets lucky and comes out on top we Owls fans will congratulate you and wish you the best in the title game. However, I really think this one will go to the Owls. Travel safely. The traffic stinks around here and the holiday just makes it worse.

Construction near Ooltewah STINKS. They have opened a new portion of road near the school, but traveling on I75 on a Friday of a holiday weekend is going to be disastrous I am sorry to say. Allow yourself an extra hour /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> Parking is at a premium on our campus.....many park along the roadside.....get there early. Travel safely.

The Nest will be rockin' Friday night. But the Owls wll NOT run all over the Patriots. This is going to be a hard fought game down to the buzzer. Ooltewah will come out on top in the end, but it will be close the entire game. Play your A game and like HornedOwl says, the score will take care of itsself. Each and every down counts. Its the semi-finals, both teams are playing for an opportunity to make the championship game. There will be no quitters. Go Owls! Do what you know how to do -----WIN!

Well then I feel sorry for you if you are an Owl hater. Its hard to go thru life with that kind of animosity toward people you don't even know. This is a good bunch of kids from a good school, whom to my knowledge have ever done anything derogatory toward you. Owls fans can be cocky at times, but its more confidence than anything else. The last three years or so have been excellent for the football program at Ooltewah. We were stopped short by Smyrna in '06 in a very close game, last year , we had the talent, but we self imploded with some guys who thought you spelled team with an "I", and this year it is finally all clicking. We are all proud of our Owls and will stand behind them win or lose. Go Owls!

he's missed two all year. The one against Farragut and a 52 yarder that made the distance but veered left. The one against Farragut was a bad snap. He has also kicked two kick-offs thru the uprights in the last 2 weeks. He has major talent.

Other than Oakland playing Ooltewah for the fist time ever this Friday, what in the world has Ooltewah ever done to you to provoke such a nasty statement from you??? I don't think you see Owls fans saying on any thread, ever, to stomp the **** out of anyone. You must be an immature kid or worse yet.... an immature adult. Are you an Oakland fan or just an Owl hater? It will be a great game between two great teams...end of story. To make it this far you have to RESPECT both teams. You could have gotten your point across by simply saying stomp the owls. Go OWLS!

No one has been allowed on Ooltewah's field after the game for at least the last two years, including Ooltewah's parents or students. It is standard procedure here. Nothing was done intentionally against Farragut. It is also announced SEVERAL times ove the P.A. system that no one will be allowed on the field on the field after the game.

The key to winning will be the mental game. The physical aspect will take care of itself. Both teams are strong defensively, and if there are no injuries I expect a great battle between the two teams. Get ready mentally guys, its win or go home. Gonna be a game down to the buzzer. All the Owls fans will be on their feet making some noise. OHS -----OWLS win by a field goal. Go OWLS!!!! By the way, the cheerleaders, dancers, band and Refs have all been doing a fabulous job of motivating the crowd. Keep up the good work! Great game Owls! Everyone came out tonight ready to play. Congrats to Farragut on a great season, you guys came out tonight and gave the Owls some tough competition. It has been a great rivalry over the years and its sad to see it end. You have nothing to hang your heads about. I know its a disappointment, but many teams would love to have the program that you do, or even one season like yours. So be proud of yourselfs. This year was just the Owls turn. Enjoy the victory Owls...next week is another week and we will have to put our game faces on again. Go Owls This game was won by a combination of great coaching an great atheletes. Benny and staff made the necessary changes in the second half to win the game. But it takes great atheletes to execute the plays. Great job by all!
