Did he play on the freshmen team last year?

1) Beech 2) MJ 3) ? After the top 2 I think any of the rest have a legit shot at the 3 spot. I think GHS improves alot. LHS has nowhere to go but up. HHS, WC, SC, and PHS should be solid. It should be an interesting and more competitive year in 9-AAA.

I saw on one of the recruiting websites that Ole Miss could have a few non-qualifiers so it's possible we could even seen him playing in the SEC. Thanks for the update Kisler.

Kisler, I still haven't heard anything on McCathern. Is he signing with Army or Navy? They usually don't post their signings until after they arrive at the Academy.

I know Angel is mentioned as a top prospect in '16 but where are you getting information that he is rated #2? Doesn't WCP stand for Wilson Central Parent?

I think SC battles WC for 3rd place.

I beleive he was the top WR at a Under Armour camp down in Atlanta. ALOT of D-1 schools are wanting him.

I have absolutely nothing against FCS but you have in the past and continue to put down MJ athletics down. You asked a question on a board about MJ baseball and I answered it. You bring up about me paying more attention in school? Are you that stupid to ask such a question as you did or were you attempting to put MJ athletics down once again? Both would be my guess. Dang! I stated in an earlier post about MJ that this was one that I hoped remained on the MJ staff. I sure didn't want him to leave. You are 100% correct. Their D-line was MUCH improved with him. He will be missed is an under statement. Good luck to ya coach.

Always good to hear that these young men will be able to continue/further their education and football skills to the next level but am disappointed that Hopkins and McCathern didn't receive offers from some bigger schools. These 2 young men have the heart and skill set for what it takes to make it to that level.

BKisler, I know Belhu (TN Tech) and Eady (Cumberland) signed there LOI but haven't heard anything on McCathern or Hopkins. You heard anything?
