Way to go MJ !

Roller, What do you think the strengths and weaknesses for MJ are? I have not been to a game in 3 years living up in KY and my son at WKU. I have heard they have about 34 D-1 prospects and have a talented team. I just haven't seen them play or seen any film.

I feel bad for the MJ players. They deserve the right to play the best competition and a good schedule. I know I would want to play quality teams. You don't improve by playing schedules. Is part of the reason that R Perry is no longer part of the football program? GO BEARS !

No need for MJ to schedule weak no con games other than to make their overall record look better. I could understand it more if you had a very young team without many seniors and juniors with experience. This year's team is loaded with talent ( a couple of D-1's to boot. ) I would like to see them schedule 2 Rutherford Co. schools and play Hillsboro and Cookeville. Nothing better than a win you have to fight for. It will be interesting to see what the schedule looks like next year.

Not sure what the zoning will be for MJ and the new high school. No doubt it will have a big effect. Guessing both schools will be 3 A?

That's interesting. Why he would want to leave MJ? They have some of the best facilities ( stadium, locker room, and training and weight room ) in the state; great support by the community and basically get anything he askes for.

LOD- You are so right. Would love to see MJ schedule a team or two from the boro. Riverdale would be a great rivalry.

How did the spring scrimmage with Mt Juliet ?

After reading a couple of different topics; sounds like MJ has a lot of talent and athletes coming back and are one of the favorites to win the region.

Where in KY did R Perry go?

Was it R Perry or T that was interested in the Cumberland job? I have been away from MJ and the program for a couple of years and not up with what is going on.

What does Mt Juliet have coming back this year. I know they have a very talented running back; but after that I have now idea. I have been away from the program for too long know what is going with the team; how spring scrimmages went and strengths and weaknesses they will have. What kind of year does everyone think MJ will have?

Great year for Lebanon. Hats off to the coaching staff and players. Going to the playoffs gives them some thing to build on.
