Way to go MJ !

Roller, What do you think the strengths and weaknesses for MJ are? I have not been to a game in 3 years living up in KY and my son at WKU. I have heard they have about 34 D-1 prospects and have a talented team. I just haven't seen them play or seen any film.

I feel bad for the MJ players. They deserve the right to play the best competition and a good schedule. I know I would want to play quality teams. You don't improve by playing schedules. Is part of the reason that R Perry is no longer part of the football program? GO BEARS !

No need for MJ to schedule weak no con games other than to make their overall record look better. I could understand it more if you had a very young team without many seniors and juniors with experience. This year's team is loaded with talent ( a couple of D-1's to boot. ) I would like to see them schedule 2 Rutherford Co. schools and play Hillsboro and Cookeville. Nothing better than a win you have to fight for. It will be interesting to see what the schedule looks like next year.

Not sure what the zoning will be for MJ and the new high school. No doubt it will have a big effect. Guessing both schools will be 3 A?

That's interesting. Why he would want to leave MJ? They have some of the best facilities ( stadium, locker room, and training and weight room ) in the state; great support by the community and basically get anything he askes for.

LOD- You are so right. Would love to see MJ schedule a team or two from the boro. Riverdale would be a great rivalry.

How did the spring scrimmage with Mt Juliet ?

After reading a couple of different topics; sounds like MJ has a lot of talent and athletes coming back and are one of the favorites to win the region.

Where in KY did R Perry go?

Was it R Perry or T that was interested in the Cumberland job? I have been away from MJ and the program for a couple of years and not up with what is going on.

What does Mt Juliet have coming back this year. I know they have a very talented running back; but after that I have now idea. I have been away from the program for too long know what is going with the team; how spring scrimmages went and strengths and weaknesses they will have. What kind of year does everyone think MJ will have?

Great year for Lebanon. Hats off to the coaching staff and players. Going to the playoffs gives them some thing to build on.

MJ has played a weak schedule. In saying that; they took care of business of business ; didn't have a close game and shut a number of teams out. That says a lot. They didn't play down to the competition or over look anyone. I think MJ will go deep into the payoffs; but if they were to get beat; that doesn't mean they are not a good team. All this talk about their weak schedule and not being a top team just adds fuel to the fire. They feel they have some thing to prove and play with an edge. You an bet that Coach T and his staff keep pumping this to the bears; just as any good coach would. The Hendersonville game will be a good game between two very good teams . H'ville is a tough place to get a win. This will be a great play off atmosphere to get these teams ready for the playoffs next week. Any chance anyone can put this game on YouTube? I wish I could be there to see it. GO BEARS !

Bears by 28 +. Even if MJ wanted to; Whitehaven would not schedule MJ ; due to them not playing teams they could potentially face late in playoffs. I asked a Whitehaven fan about that on this site a couple of months ago and that is what he told me. GO BEARS !

MJ should go 10-0. Will they have home field throughout the playoffs? If so; they will be a tough to beat. They will be a tough out no matter who or where they play. They love the fact that no one gives them any respect. They play with an edge. GO BEARS !
