9-1 and still going. I told everyone from the beginning of the season that this could be special for this team. They worked hard and for the most part stayed focused and dedicated and look what has happened...........WOW. Lets enjoy the fruits of your labor and look for the 2nd season to begin. Lets work hard and go as far as we can. We have the players and we have the coaches and we have the fans. How can we not win with this combination. GO CARDINALS.........................

This is one of those games you have to play. We need to fine tune some thing that are broken to get ready for the play-offs. We had better to be prepared. As a coach can tell you this is the type of a game that can bite you in the... You get my point. Adamsville 36-0. GO CARDINALS.............

If these incidents are true (and I don't know that they are) of the students of HC going to A'ville to damange the football field over what the HC coaches did to pump up their own students, I am very disappointed over the actions of the coaching staff. You are playing an undefeated team with an undefeated team. Someone will lose. Someone will not be undefeated after tonight. Why would you need pranks and false incidents to pump up your team? If this is what it takes to get their "attention" then I say you, your coaching staff and your team has a defiecient attention disorder. You must be really scared of this little 2A school to stoop to this level. Win or lose (I hope win) I want to tell the Cardinal coaching staff and team, how proud I am of their character and actions. You are not only a great football team on the field but off the field as will. GO CARDINALS..................

MUD, MUD, MUD and more MUD. RAIN, RAIN, and more RAIN. I quess you get the picture of what it will be like tonight. I wish the conditions would be better but I quess we'll have to settle on what we have. The only consoladation will be that both teams will have to play on the same field. May both teams be safe from harm and may the best team win........Did you hear me CARDINALS.....

Putting aside my heart I know that HC is supposed to win. They certainly have the size avantage. It's possible they may even have the speed. But all football fans know the ball isn't round and doesn't always bounce the way it should. And all the old coaches will tell you it isn't all about speed or even talent. I'm not conceding any of this things to HC. I'm just saying if HC had all these advantages I'll refer back to my 1st sentence, "putting aside my heart". The truth is the heart is the measuring stick in this game and it becomes a matter of who has the heart to win. As an A'ville fan I truly believe that the Cardinals have the biggest heart. Now I know HC fans will contradict this (and they should) but we'll have to wait until after the game to celebrate which is again as it should be. Let the game begin. Can't believe what I'm hearing on this blog. To be honest I expected the reaction to be more complimentary to the teams involved. Like I said before I listened to the game with the TCA announcers and was pretty impressed. Of course they were a little biased but you'd expect that from them. But they did call them as they saw them. 1) they didn't think the kid from TCA scored on the play that was called a touchdown. 2) they didn't say but one time during the game about a questionable late hit. Even they admitted it was really too close to call. 3) they observed a late hit by one of their players that wasn't called. They said "we were lucky it wasn't called. In this game everyone sees things differently. All I know is what the TCA announcers told me. If you look at the game in totality you would realize, as cardfan pointed out that Adamsville left at least 21 points on the field. This will cost them sooner or later if this isn't corrected. But luckily it didn't happen last night. TCA is not as good as Adamsville this year. That's what this game proved to anyone who is looking at it objectively. GO CARDINALS (Hardin County is looking hard at you).............................

THE CARDINALS ARE STILL FLYING HIGH............... Wasn't able to be at the game (personal reasons) but heard it on the internet and I must say the announcers for TCA was pretty fair with their description and play by play. Of course they leaned toward TCA but that's their school. Was pretty impressed overall. The game was how I expected it to go, a very tough defensive battle. The offence moved the ball but came up empty too many times in the red zone. Had some tough penalties but fought it out and didn't give up. Overcame all obstacles even some of their own making. But a good team finds ways to hang on and win. They sure did that. TCA is a very competitive team that expects to win. It showed tonight. I know I'd hate to have to face them again (at least this season). Has the earmarks of a long rivalry game for years to come. I didn't hear but hope the players from both teams escaped injuries and finish out the season winning all their remaining games. GREAT games guys from TCA and of course the CARDINALS. You made the fans from both teams proud and gave them more than their monies worth...............

Dittos to Coach Gray and the recognition for coach of the week award. The state's finding out what we've known for a while. He's a keeper. The quys have to be ready tonight because every team they play wants to be the one to knock them from the unbeaten ranks. Tonight is proably double the warning. A lot is riding on this game and both teams want the advantage of winning this one. TCA is to be respected but not feared. You can and will win this one. Really looking forward to a great game from two excellent teams. Sad to see some negative post from two positive schools. Never heard anything but good about Trinity and A'ville I know. Let us not forget that words leave an impression that may never change. I look forward to this game becoming a rivalry but I hope there is genuine respect from the fans for both schools. I certainly don't blame anyone for picking TCA over A'ville. Just don't make the score lopsided and it makes sense. But I have to pick the Cardinals because of my heart and not my head. The only credit I can give my head is that it has enough sense to follow my heart. GO CARDINALS..................................................

Who in the world is even thinking about sleeping past TCA. Nobody is more aware of the ability of this good team and its coaching. A great deal of respect is given by the A'ville community and most of all by our football team. What we do believe (and as fans we are suppose to support the team) is that A'ville is not getting the respect in return. At this point it doesn't matter who either team has played because all the focus has to be on each other. On the field is where this will be decided and we'll have to wait to see who can brag. But please don't dilute joy of the win (by whoever) by downplaying the abilty of the other team. I truly believe this is the most important game not only because it's the next one, but because of all the implications it has on the playoff picture. May both teams be at full strength and remain injury free. GO CARDINALS......................................................

The quarterback for A'ville had a sprained ankle from yesterday and started the game hurt. He missed the first offensive series to begin the second half but came back in and played. So don't talk about #5 being hurt in the second half. AJ and a couple of other players had the flu but stuck it out for the team. The field was sloppy on both sides of the ball. It favored no one. The truth was told tonight that Adamsville is just better than C'Wood this year. End of story....... CARDINALS ARE NOW 6-0..

I do get bored by all the people week after week getting on the message boards and talking about how A'ville hasn't played anybody and how every week the other team talks about how they're going to beat the Cardinals. When the dust settles (or the mud lately) A'ville is still undefeated. So far everyone betting against Adamsville has lost. I tell you that this week is no different even though I do believe that Adamsville will have to show a little more of their offense. But I guess my point is that they still haven't shown all their offense. A'ville by a touchdown. GO CARDINALS.............................

Somebodys smoking something to predict C'wood by 13 and 14. They might win, I don't think so but what logic to predict 14 and 14. I don't believe they can score 14 points total so that must mean they think they can shut A'ville offense down. Don't think so. GO CARDINALS........................................

I believe that A'Ville will be ready for this tough matchup. I believe the team has overcome too many hurdles to let this one slip out of their hands. A big defensive showing by the Cards and Adamsville wins. GO CARDINALS.........................................

For personal reasons I didn't see the game last night but I heard from realiable sources that the Cardinals could do anything they wanted to do. They tryly are a tough team this year. Coach Gray has this program on the way to an elite program. But he knows one or two years doesn't put them in that category. But it has begun to get mentioned as a great school. With all that said we have only to concetrate on Collinwood. They are tough also. We'll have to work hard and bring it on Friday to continue this "special" season. As a footnote I was also told that our young guys played from about the middle of the third quarter on. Told you Coach Gray is not interested in running up the score. A'VILLE 5-0. Way to go Cardinals..... No letdown tonight even though the conditions weren't good the team's determination was GREAT......Coach Gray has this team ready for the remainder of the season. GO CARDINALS.........................

We are concerned about beating Scotts Hill right now. They are a worthy adversary and deserve out total attention. Come back after this game and we will be glad to talk to you about Collinwood. GO CARDINALS...................................

Please believe me, I wasn't talking about any schools but just in principle. I have no reason to know or believe Scotts Hill has run up the score on anybody. GO CARDINALS................................

I truly believe you should be careful with your words because you don't know which ones you'll have to eat later. Right at this point our focus should be on Scotts Hill. As I've said before (even some of their fans agree) the Cards should win. But in football not all thing goes as it should. We have a lot of worthy opponents we have to play and everyone of them will be doing what we will be doing, trying to win the game. Every game will be our Super bowl. If our young men take this approach our season will turn out to be a history maker. That's the goal but honestly isn't that the goal of every team every year. I wish all the teams the best and hope every game will be one every fan can be proud of, win or (well I can't bring myself to even mention the other alternative) lol..........GO CARDINALS..........

There is never any good reason to run up the score on anybody!!!!!!!!!!! Your team doesn't benifit because you have robbed some players on your team the opportunity to get valuable game experience and it hurts the morale of the players on the other team and that is not a good thing to teach either team. These kids work hard to play this wonderful game but in the end the lessons continue long after the horn has blown. We owe them a lot for the pleasure they give us on Friday nights and we owe them more than wanting a hugh blowout. With all that said I am a believer that whoever is on the field is suppose to continue to play as hard as they possibly can, trying to either score or stop the other team from scoring. If this is done then it is not running up the score it's just playing the game. May both teams remain healthy for the remainder of the season and please let the best team win. I sure hope ya'll know what your talking about as far as the 40 points difference but I just can't see it. First I'm not sure we are that much better and 2nd I just can't see Coach Gray allowing that to happen. We would give some of the other guys a chance to gain some game experience if the game was that one sided.
