Thanks for mentioning Scotts Hill!! I will say that last year and the year before Scotts Hill had the best cheering section in West TN. No matter where we went the school and town followed. You know the student section is crazy when last year during the entire season we were talked about on here saying we were too rowdy which I still disagree with. Now this year Scotts Hills student section has taken a hit while the students and the town are still there they don't do much screaming so we are definitely not the best this year but last year and the year before no one could compete with us!!

CSAS is a very good team and I defiantly wouldn't count them out. They beat my beloved Lady Lions yesterday. They caused us to make so many tournovers. They have a great defense. Scotts Hill took the lead going into the half but just couldn't hang on to it. Scotts Hill was up 32-28 and thats when CSAS went on 13-0 run to end the third. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS LEFT!!

West TN doesn't travel well??? Yesterday Scotts Hill a little town in West Tn played and brought 1,000 fans with them. Scotts Hill brought the most fans out of Single A. I mean we did get beat by a very good CSAS team so we wont be able to bring that crowd again but you can't say West TN teams don't bring any fans!!!

I hope it Scotts Hill vs. Middleton however it probably won't happen. With that said I think everybody knows Jackson Co. will be there in the end. I dont know about the other side of the bracket. I wouldn't sleep on Scotts Hill. They have the bigs down low and can shoot lights out. We don't have the best ball handlers but it hasn't hurt us yet so I am hopin it doesn't now. Scotts Hill has an amazing coach who will come up with some crazy strategies. If I was Jackson Co. I wouldn't sleep on Middleton cause they are a very good team. Ice you won't get a straight answer out of midten he/she is delusional most of the time. To answer your question, RBS played a great game against us and against Clarkrange. We took the air out of it in the 4th quarter going up by as much as 9 or 11 i think and just holding the ball for the most part. The Colter girl played phenomenal but she's a good player so thats expected. I think CSAS just played a great game and if they play like that this week they will be a tough out. CSAS's coach has done what it takes to get better by coming up here in the season and playing these teams from the Upper Cumberland the past few years and my hats off to them. They've taken some beatings in the past in the substate but i'm betting they won't be so easy from now on. Not sure how they did against Marion co. in the region finals but we could have beaten that team by 80 or 90 points saturday night had we wanted to. It was 50 when the starters went out with 5+ minutes to go in the 3rd quarter but those girls from Marion Co. never quit hustling and thats how you get better. Everyone has to start out at the bottom and work your way up. There will be some great competition this year at the state tournament and those of us that live in the real world in Jackson Co. realize this. Hopefully that has answered your question and good luck to you and your teams! Does CSAS have any bigs?? I heard they play a 1-2-2 half court defense and like to set up a press the whole game. I have no clue if that is right or not. Can yall verify those coments?? I am just trying to figure out who Scotts Hill will be playing cause I have never heard of CSAS until this year.

I've been askin around and lookin everywhere i can think of cant find anything. I looked at their schedule and very early in the season they lost to the third place team in Jackson Co. district by 15 and the 4th place team by 4. It's their only 2 losses in single A. Other than that im clueless and that doesn't say anything cause that was extremely early in the season.

Ok I was wrong about RBS they laid a big egg!!! I've been cleaning house all morning so let me do some house cleanin on CoachT. First of all rabbitboy shouldn't you be on the softball threads? I bet those mits are poppin right now!!! Secondly I hope an pray Jackson Co. draws CSAS in round one it will give us some practice on the rims before we play any real competition. As for the boys game I got CSAS winning by 25 Yall seem like you know CSAS. Are they quick, do they have any bigs down low, can they shoot well???

It's gona be EXTREMELY tough for Humboldt to come to the HILL and beat Scotts Hill. The fan base is going to be CRAZY!! The home court advantage isn't everything that Scotts Hill has on their side. Coach Chandler is one of the best coaches in the state! Even though he doesn't have any state apearances he is GREAT!! There is no one else I would rather have seating on the bench beside Scotts Hill Saturday night. The Lions of Scotts Hill have been playing great so far in the tournements. They have been rebounding the ball so much better than they did in the regular season and playing a great defense. Yes they do have a starter missing this game but Miranda Hayes stepped up big time against Middleton in the Region Championship and Michelle Beecham has shown that she can be reliable coming off the bench in some games this season. I will take Scotts Hill by 7 48-41

I am pumped for this game tonight!! It should be an amazing game!! I don't think it will be a blow out for either one of these teams. Although Middleton hasn't bounced back from any losses this year except for the one in the District Championship game they look to me like they are playing for revenge. When I watched them play Adamsville they absolutely dominated the first half so I left. If our girls come out and are not on their A game I don't expect a win tonight. With that said I do expect our girls to come out ready to play ball. They saw what happened to our guys last night and do not want to experience the same thing. I think it will be a 1 to 4 point game no matter who wins. I have to pull for the LADY LIONS OF SCOTTS HILL!! GO LADY LIONS!!

Does anybody know who won the Middleton game?? So far the results have been like this: City University over TCA by 13 Scotts Hill over River City by 28 Westwood over Adamsville by 8 Middleton/Douglas????? Scotts Hill vs. Westwood 6:00 @ TCA City University vs. Middleton/Douglas 7:30 @ TCA Both games Tuesday night!! GOOD LUCK LIONS!!!

You obviously have no clue what you are talking about when it comes to chants from the Scotts Hill fans. The chant that is being put way out of proportion has no vulgar phrases in it what so ever!!! All this chant does is call the team that loses "losing team" and the team that wins "winning team". I dont think that counts as vulgar!! This isn't UPWARD WHERE EVERYBODY IS A WINNER!! It is HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL WHERE YOU HAVE A TEAM THAT LOSES AND TEAM THAT WINS!! This chant has been blown way out of proportion! PLEASE GIVE IT A REST!! At our school we are not aloud to say anything vulgar in a chant!! The administration got onto the student section for sayin "you suck". The student section at Scotts Hill has not said this phrase since the Adamsville game in the district Semi Finals.
