University of North Alabama in Florence, AL. They were coached by Terry Bowden but I don't think that he is there now. I had heard that Bobby Bowden would send him players that couldn't make it at FSU. UNA had several championship seasons before Bowden.

Sorry to hear that. My son has the same problem and will try to play through but can't pitch. Trying to develop a way to throw from 3rd though. It is his senior season as well and does not want to miss it.

Wayne County beat Loretto & Cwood pretty good at WC but I'm not sure that the way those two teams played the other night that WC or Stown could have beaten either one. Neither one wanted to loose and go home. They fought very hard and Cwood came out on top. BTW, I think Stown & WC are weak and will be lucky to beat each other tomorrow night.

Knee injury. I hear it is really a bad one. He is a good basketball & baseball player. Cwood will miss him. I really hate to see these kids play all of their lives getting ready for their highschool days and then get hurt especially their senior year. Hopefully he will be back for next year.

Collinwood & Loretto both played very hard last night. I think that Cwood or Loretto would finish 2nd had the bracket been a little different. Right now Cwood is playing for 3rd and Loretto is done.

Winner of Stown/WC will play winner of PC/Cwood for 1st & 2nd place and the 2 loosers play for 3rd & 4th places. 1. PC 2. Stown 3. Cwood 4. WC Hows that?

I have changed my mind on this outcome.

WC over Clifton. WC looked really bad in that win. After watching the Cwood over Loretto game, I don't think WC will finish any higher than 4th place. WC probably won their last game last night. I believe the tourney will finish like this now. 1. PC 2. Collinwood 3. Stown 4. WC

Keaton & Morris are top of the line teachers & people.

I think Keaton & Morris would do both. They both have been principals and coaches as well as teachers.

Morris would have to be part of the plan. He and Keaton go way back. Morris is the guy at the other end of Keaton's headset. Morris is the eye in the sky. He is really the one that knows the game and breaks down the other teams during the game. Coach Keaton and Morris would be at the top of my list if I where MTP. I think they could do wonders up there because of the talent and their coaching ability. The days of Marco would soon be forgotten.

His name is Ryan Keaton. He helped coach the high school this year. He works in the Board of Education at Waynesboro now. Great guy and would be a good one. Probably would not leave Wayne County though.

How is this advertised? Many players in the small towns never hear about tryouts or anything about these showcases.

Question........... How many times have a Mr. Football (Finalist or Winner) been selected as a Mr. Basketball (Finalist or Winner)? Tucker could be among a few.

Go get Bronson Bradley..... He is a young coach at about 32 yrs old. Currently at Portland (I think) and a good ole Wayne County Wildcat. He was with Rice at Perry County and stayed after Rice left for Wayne County. He is a fine christian family man and would be a great role model. His family is still in Wayne County and I bet he would like to get close to home.

I would have to agree with most of this. I have knocked WC's play most of the season but they have played as a team as of the last 2 games and looked pretty good as a team. If they continue to play this way they will finish at least second. PC is clearly the best team and it will be hard for any of the other teams to beat them. I think that WC matches up really well with Stown and since WC is hosting then WC finishes 2nd.

I agree here. Kelsey Risner has been a 4 year starter for Wayne County. Handles the ball great and has a very pretty, smooth shot. Kelsey signed with Union last year during her junior season. She is a big reason that Wayne County won a gold ball last year. She is the best player in District 12 and is the only senior on this team and plays her heart out every game. She hates to loose and fights until the end.

I agree here. Mathis can't be the only one to score. It's probably to late to change things now. WC will be very lucky to make the region tourney. Unless Rice gets hot and Melson gets some feeds inside then WC is done.

I don't see any team from this district advancing very far except Perry County. Every team seems so up and down. Wayne County looked it's best the first week that the football players came on board. They have not looked very good since. They won 3 games that week that included S'town's first loss. Perry County is by far the best team that I have seen play this year but I have not seen anyone outside of WC's schedule.

Wayne County has been saving up for a big game. Look out Vikings because here it comes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wayne County isn't overlooking anybody right now. They can't beat their own JV team.

WC could not score 40 on Lewis County last night. I don't see us being much of a problem for anyone right now. WC came out and looked decent when Mathis & Rice came on board after football but we are really struggling right now. If we play like we have the last 3 games C'wood will beat WC by 25 or more Friday night.

Better bump Wayne County down several spots they aren't looking very good right now. They looked better the first week that the footballers came back than they do right now. They aren't playing together and can't hit shots.
