Were you at the game? Probably NOT!! Considering there were only 3 people in the stands from Oakland. Cookeville didn't want to beat them by 50....................22 was just fine. It was the way the Oakland players looked on the court....LOST and didn't know what to do next. The only thing Cookeville had to do after half was to make a slight defensive change, which allowed them to still play their game and Oakland was not able to play without being totally unsure of what they were doing. Patience had nothing to do with Oakland being able to carry out her game plan. So for your information, wanting to beat them by 50 wasn't erven a concern. While they were stalling the ball, Cookeville had the lead. Either way it went, Cookeville was going to beat them. It was not allowing your players to go out with dignity and knowing they played their game. I understand coaching strategy.................you still have to have the team to pull off that kind of strategy!!!
