Gallatin has got one of the best kickers around, the rest of the special team units aren't quite as amazing though.

This is a very disappointing end to his Tennessee career and a complete waste of talent. I watched Coker play at Antioch a couple of years back and I think he was one of, if not the, best high school players I had ever seen play. To see him waste this phenomenal talent is absolutely disgusting. Hopefully he will clean himself up and play somewhere else down the road, although I'm not so sure he deserves to.

Don't know much about Polk but White House has got some pretty good players. I think White House has enough talent to win this game. Good luck Blue Devils! White House- 35 Polk- 21

Overton shocks the Rebels and wins this game. Franklin is going to find out the hard way about Daniel White, he is one of the best running backs around. He breaks so many tacles and once you key on him, they pitch it out to that other back, Jackson. The biggest question mark to me though is can Overton's D step up? Overton- 31 Franklin- 24

I truly hope that Brentwood wins this one. After the Hville game vs HL, I have zero, and I mean ZERO, respect for the HL program. Before the game they come out and hang on Hville's goalpost (Hville coaches had to come out later and fix it) and talk trash (you could hear it from the stands), all the while their coaches are encouraging it. Later they came out and jumped on the H in the middle of the field. I had some sympathy for the HL players and what they had to go through, but after that performance I don't think they deserve to play football. Unfortunately, they are a pretty dang good football team and they should win the game.

I think the winners this week will be Hunters Lane (please prove me wrong Brentood), Overton, Antioch, and Indy with the lone region 6 win.

Gallatin can win this game, Indy's not that that much better than Gallatin. Even as a Hendersonville alum, I still have respect for the Gallatin program and the way they play, so should Indy. I'm picking Indy in a close win. Indy- 21 Gallatin- 17

You had only one team advance to the second round round man. How does that make your region stronger? And yeah, last year everyone was saying how Region 5 didn't stand a chance.

I'm pretty sure that was what everyone was saying last year too.

How do you think Maryville would fare without Quarles in charge?

Very true, I was only upset because everyone acts like it is the coaches fault, bottom line is its not. The players are the ones who have to go out and run what's called with whoever is in. And by the way, the only D1 player I can remeber from those teams was James Wilhoit.

If it's against the law, just get the kid to punch out a teacher, that should work.

If the kid doesn't play football, are you saying that he will immediately turn to gangs and drugs? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that this kid is improving his life. I just don't happen to believe that football or any extracurricular activity should be a right, you should be expected to follow a different set of standards. If you can't follow them then you shouldn't be playing. Best of luck to this young man in the future.

Why would I have to be on the team to be offended by you bashing these coaches? I have played under them and for you to basically call them lazy (which you did), I consider that calling out the team. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way.

I never asked what class you were in, frankly I don't consider you much of an HHS alum with the way you come on here and criticize the current team.

No teams will be able to compete with middle TN, it will be another all mid TN state championship
