Oops.....typing/spacing error - sorry AAA Pairings Predictions: Top Half of Bracket: Collierville #1 seed vs. Ravenwood #8 seed Oak Ridge #4 seed Siegel #5 seed Bottom Half of Bracket: Bearden #2 seed vs. Soddy Daisy #7 seed Franklin #3 seed vs. Houston #6 seed The seedings may differ a bit, but I believe TSSAA will keep Collierville and Houston on opposite sides of the bracket and the same will apply for Bearden and Oak Ridge. Thoughts?

Does anyone know the score of the Collierville game? 7 of the 8 AAA slots are filled, but I see no word on this final berth.

To add a lighter note to all this drama, perhaps the reason BHS appeared a little flat last night (if in fact they did) was due more to the high length of grass that has been cultivated at ORHS to slow down the opposition. Perhaps that heavy drag resistance on their cleates just wore BHS down in the second half, allowing the ORHS players who were used to the high turf to eventually gain the advantage....

The injured Bearden player is doing pretty well. She suffered a neck injury and is wearing a neck brace but her X rays were negative and she went to school Friday.

Is it too late in the season for a District to develop a fair tiebreaker policy beyond the 6th level to determine who hosts District matches in order to prevent the coin toss? Could one avoid being accused of gerrymandering this late in the season since team records and scores are available for review and consideration? Any suggestions for a fair tiebreaker beyond the 6th level?
