wrong.. i think any of our top 4 had a shot to finish 4rth in their region .. Early on i said region one #1 seed would be our only win.. i was guessing hampton, but said it didnt matter which one it was, i also said that we'd be one and done.. greenback wins by about the same score as what they put on hampton.

but, holy cow, its hard to pull for any team that spurrier coaches and florida just on principles.. that being said i do, and im loving it when the announcers all pick against sec and say that sec doesnt have the speed to match up.. uh.. okay

yes they did.. and hampton and every other detractor cosby has railed them about it.. now hampton's playing that song and guess what, they are getting railed on about it. sometimes the better team doesnt win, but its hard to say it without sounding like your whining..

what was the play? they ran a fake on us too, it appeared that we left a "gunner" uncovered and were running an 11th man on late, i was wondering if it was an audible fake or called before the play began in the huddle.

I disagree with this, a high scoring game favors grace. In order for cosby to win i think they need to have a physical running game that eats up the clock and limits the possessions of both teams. I think the cosby defense will have some success stopping them but grace has too much big play potential for cosby to stop them 4 plays in a row from getting a big chunk. Also, cosby's inability to finish drives this year is gonna finally bite them, they're gonna need every point they can get in this one. grace some where around 28-35 cosby some where around 14 to 19

jayjay was saying cosby had it on lockdown.. im the one that brought up the "mathmatically on lockdown" question because i knew that it wasnt at that point yet.. but really for region 1A a double elimination playoff starts now.. the winner of grace/ cosby is 1 with the loser at 2 .. the winner of hampton / cloudland is 3 with the loser at 4 .. and the unaka/ jellico game is for 5th and 6th.. prediction: 1. grace 2. cosby 3. hampton 4. cloudland 5. unaka 6. jellico

yes, if grace wins out its: 1. grace 2. cosby 3. winner of hampton/cloudland 4. loser winner hampton/cloudland if grace loses one of the next 2, then cosby wins region

wait, what? you agree that if grace wins out then they win region, but you still say cosby "mathematically" has won the region? You apparently dont understand what "mathematically has won the region" means! I think Cosby has good shot at winning it, but I also think that grace is too good to count out til somebody puts a 2nd L on them. Which by the way you need to hope that cloudland takes care of that for ya, I'm not sold that you all can score enough to keep up with grace

how is it mathematically correct? If grace wins out, then cosby and grace both have one loss, with grace having the head to head tie breaker.. both grace and cosby control their own destiny.. if cloudland beats grace tonight, then, i think you all have it "mathematically" on lock down..

I picked Hampton over you guys, but I still thought you all have a shot against the rams just because of the way you match up with them... I think you all can just go "3 yards and a cloud of dust", they'll have trouble stopping you and it slows the game down and gives both teams fewer possessions, but you all hafta tighten up the redzone offense, every week someone from Cosby is saying "we shoulda scored 40 if had a TD for every possession inside the 20" wow, mark that one down.

you sound defensive, i noted a trend, there are several others.. pujo mentioned the elementary team being bad, that has nothing to do with the high school coaches but its another factor in saying the program is in trouble.. from everything that I've heard the coaches know their stuff, the problem isnt at the top..

I wasnt making any inferences to where the problem lies, just noticing a trend in the wrong direction.. It could be the kids that are quitting and not dressing were upset/mad/disappointed with PT. More numbers dressing doesnt point to a better team, alot of 1a's only play 12 to 15 kids anyways.. you sound like your fishing and try to get me to commit to saying something, how do you feel?

if the 17 dressed is accurate, and the injuries are accurate, its 14 at the end of one, and its cloudlands jv against whoever unaka can put on the field for the 2nd half, this one gets ugly quick.. btw, they dressed 30'ish for the first home game, 24'ish for Sullivan East, now its 17? Yikes, this program is in trouble!

I agree with all that, I left it generic by saying region one's #1 seed because I dont think it matters which one it is, I'm afraid that this year it will be either the sweep or we're one and done. Can Hampton compete with them.. sure, but not sure they can actually knock them off this year like in the past..

think they may be renting a bus .. they were trying to get enough fan interest for one, which probably would have been a 2nd bus, so i doubt that will an overniter for them. btw, how good is matewan? heard they were highly ranked in the small school class in WVa?
