  1. Go East Hickman, last meeting with Giles was 2-1 Giles won, but East will give all they got. Keep counting East out, Next year i predict a undefeated year in our district. the team is young, losing 2 seniors, but several other are stepping up to do more than fill thier shoes.
  2. Giles wins 2-1 , East hickman struck first and kept the lead almost the whole first half. at half it was 1-1 . stayed 1-1 till the very last giles put one in for the win. Very good game .
  3. Watching all of East Hickmans games so far they could very well be undefeated so far, they made some simple mistakes that cost them. I dont think they are ready yet for Giles. East Defense will be at full strength this week making goals a lot harder to achieve. But ball handling will be the problem for East, Far too many times this year they lost the ball right at the goal either a bad shot ( over the goal,to the side wide) or losing control at the moment of truth. They are coming along better each week, I will be excited for them come tournament time. Giles county coming to East will help East, But as a loyal East fan I hope they win in this game, but for now,I have to give it to Giles for this match.
  4. Zion has a very good team for a small school. they will be in any game they play. The pleasent thing to look for at East Hickman is they are only loosing 1 or 2 senior starters , the main scorers and tough defenders are juniors, there is some very good young players that could be starting as well, They will be super strong next year, they will do good this year for being thier first year, the more they play the better they are going to be. They need to work on ball control, that seems to be thier problem now, too much bunching up at the goal trying to get the "perfect kick" is costing shots. They need to practice "off balance/weak leg shots to find the net more often. But they are getting plenty of shots on goal, Experience will come with time, smart goals instead of blasting it over the open goal/to the side/off the crossbar goal will have to stop, all in all a very agressive and fast team, the goalie made some young mistakes, but is doing good for a first year player. The more they play this year the more suprises folks will see, East is fortunate to have a very good committed coach as well.
  5. I hope East does well this year. they have set the stage, they seem to have it together, for a new team they are doing good, they beat Hickman in a scrimmage, lost to a very good forrest School ( game could of went either way, ) and beat a good young Loretto team. The kids have not been tested yet, Giles will put them to the test,if they can pull that off then we can speculate on the district. .
  6. Last game i was at there was a clear handball in the box, resulted in penalty shot, no red card or yellow was given. Is it the referees discretion ?
  7. Too early to predict, this game should tell alot for the season. East looks real good this year. I also heard CA is not what they normally are this year.
  8. East Hickman HS Inaugural Season 12/5/07 005 East Hickman Baseball This will be the first year for the Eagles of EHHS. They will be playing in the very tough District 10-AA which had two teams advance to the Sectional Finals, with Marshall Co. making an appearance in Spring Fling. Leading the Eagles will be first year head coach Joshua Smith, who was a 3 year letter winner at Antioch High School under the late TBCA Hall of Fame member Ronnie Wilson. The Eagles will be lead on the field by a strong group of experienced athletes. Coach Smith will look for leadership from the Senior Class lead by IF/P Kevin Wilson, C/IF AJ Tidwell, IF/OF Lee Zigler, and IF/OF William Allen. The Eagles will also have a strong Junior class all with varsity experience lead by OF Andrew Fink, IF/OF Taylor Nash, IF Tony Pewitt, and OF Justin Jennette. Others that will contribute to the team this year will be Sophomore Jacob Voyles, Sophomore Josh Chessor, and Freshman Derek Gossett. On the schedule this year for the Eagles will some tough opponents. From an early contest with Friendship in the Wilson Co. Tournament, Marshall Co. in the 2nd week of District play, and then an away game with Goodpasture. Also on the schedule will be the cross county rival Hickman Co. High School. "To be successful this year we must limit mistakes and forget that we are a new school. Play like we have done this before," said Coach Smith. ???????????????????????????? Does anybody know where this information came from??? .
  9. this guy is a moron............... he is always wrong.......... Take it to them BULLDOGS ! The jerk from fairview said the bulldogs never seen a team like good pasture......well guess what nobody has seen a team like the BULLDOGS yet...........Friday night hit em hard dont let them take a breath.
  10. This clown has been trying to hate on Hickman all year, that is nothing new coming from Fairview, and as a typical fairview moron, he is always wrong................ he will be wrong again. Roll BIG DAWGS !
  11. Things can happen, ......so hopefully Lewis will have a bad game and Eagles have a good one....., I will be pulling for East...... if they can find someone to make some catches , things would be different. I cant get over the last 2 games. the plays worked, but that is a time where you got to have a playmaker.......not even a playmaker, just catch the ball ! Hopefully someone will get an oppertunity to make the difference, I know there has got to be a kid on that team that can make the catches...... Go Eagles and Coach Jones...........were pulling for you!
  12. I dont know what the total kids left are, but they have dropped a few more. There are some head cases on thenteam that think they can do whatever they want to do. Coach has rules and does not enforce them on some of the kids ( like other teams) , it goes for all the kids......if they dont like it they can leave, or be asked to leave. I back that up 100% .
  13. I think he meant that loretto tarnished thier only win by making a low class move by doing what they did. It was classless, I was there too, but those folks know not what they do..... East will not forget that little stunt.
  14. I will be pulling for East, they may get drilled bad.........but stranger things have happened under the friday night lights, One thing is for sure, the place will be packed, The Centerville folks will be coming down to expect to see a slaughter, and East is preparing to play to earn respect, win or lose .......this is the game they have been waiting for all year, .
  15. There is going to be a suprise team jump right in the runnings this year.........................
