Come on Pirate, nobody has said that SP stinks. SP has a very good team. We just think TC is better. Come Friday night, we will all find out.

IMO TC is the best team & should come away with the win. They will have to contain the backfield speed of SP. However, I really don't see how that will be much of a problem. GO Jackets, ALL OF REGION 4 IS BEHIND YOU!!!!!

I think that SP is way too confident. You've gor a good ball team but you won't get past TC!!!! I may even be there with my purple & gold sweater vest!!!!

TC should take this one. They are a more physical team than SP. TC defensive line should be able to contain SP speed in the back. I say TC 28 SP 7

All this talk about last years teams. As a FC fan, I'll say I was disappointed in last years FC & SP match up with some of the "leaders" lay down against SP. If you are expecting last years team, you maybe a little dissapointed. And if you recall, Maasen battled till the end.

BTW, when are you guys going to upgrade your stadium? You def. need more seating! Hope your qb is alright. He's one heck of a player. Good luck the rest of the year, especially in round 2. TC looked good & was the better team Saturday night. Our QB got hurt the first quarter, played hurt through the game. He's a tough un. Good luck!!!

Several talented kids on the FC team. I am looking to see big plays out of many of our boys in green. Powerp, we don't mind being the underdogs. We've been down this road before. No doubt our boys can play with TC. Glad to see all the TC folks so confident in their team & their dreams of a blow out game down here in possum town. Come Friday night, there will only be one team standing in Region 4A that will remain undefeated.

We are a stronger & faster team from last year too!! Sounds like a battle will be played come Friday night. I am sure the boys in green will be ready!!!!!

The way I understand it, the school budget was submitted & the commisioners, holding the pocketbook, will not fund the proposed budget. As of September 30th, ALL SPORTS WILL NO LONGER BE PLAYED IN ANY WILSON COUNTY SCHOOL. IT IS NOT AN OPTION FOR COACHES TO WORK FOR FREE. A special meeting has been called for Sept. 15th, which may change the above option. Rumor is with the Wilson County Commission's decision to cut all sports that TSSAA would waiver any ballplayers eligability to play. Also heard that key players from Lebanon High, Wilson Central, & Mt. Juliet are looking to wear the GREEN. There is also talk of the school waivering the academic entrance exam, & having sports tryouts instead. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

The Commanders are expecting a TOUGH game with DCA. The FC boys are going to take it a game at a time.

Clay County certainly came to battle & appeared to hold the commanders back at the start of the game. With some key Clay County players going down was certainly a factor in how the game unfolded. We are sure hoping that Nolan & Matt make a speedy recovery.
