wrong,dresden like greenfield are basketball schools and all ways will be. neither has ever been relevant in football and i don't look for it to change, but it is good amusement until november when real sports start.

Dresden made their bed, it was called Halls. Win that game and they are still in the playoffs. Take care of your own business and you don't rely on anyone else.

Get away from Lake Co? It's not novenmber yet, this is still football season for Lake Co. Maybe next week whenever ya'll start basketball practice will be a time to start posting about being worried about someone not wanting to play Lake Co. As to the alignment i'm sorry that dresden's geographical aliment doesn't suit what you think it should be. Trust me i'd much rather play Lake Co (which i'm assuming your from) or South Fulton opposed to Mckensie and the always weak Mustangs. Good observation however. You should prolly wait and start posting from now on until Lake Co's only sport starts in november and hopefully your comments will be some what relevant or intelligent. Besides, dresden's principle has enough trouble running a school, odds are high that he didn't put much thought into the new alignment Then whomever it is that thinks he isn't that smart, is the dumber one. For playoff purposes, there are only 2 2A schools in that district...Dresden and McKenzie. Dresden went that way to compete. I can't help it if they took the easy way out...Dresden will concede the victory to Mckenzie, but if they can consistently beat up on schools half there size ( for most of the matchups, not all), then they stand a chance of making the playoffs as a wildcard. That is funny that some in your town actually believe that geographical bs...lol On your big wins this season, have you even looked at your opponents records?? If you guys could play the school for the blind, you'd play them if they were below 500. And if you got beat, you'd blame the referees for the injustice...lol I know it has to kind of suck being the capital of your county, but always playing second fiddle to any school that has the same or within 100 kids of your schools' population. better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.

can you read? No where did I say it was a win. I said a possible win, and it is. Also, i know that greenfield scrimmaged you without their best lineman as well. When you have a program that has been wrecked as dresdens has, you don't count any wins until after the final horn and you are ahead. Gibson County on the other hand has the tradition to count them ahead of time.

you should ask the college coaches coming to see 78 if he is not of the same caliber. I know Mckenzie is very good and dresden is trying to rebuild. Hopefully they can give mckenzie a good game, it will help with their confidence. From what i heard about preseason scrimmages, greenfield handled gibson co. pretty easily, so that looks like a game dresden could possibly win.

You will see the no huddle tonight, dresden has run it all year. I don't know if dresden can play with Mckenzie or not, but in the first 2 games dresdens size has been wearing down the other teams late in the game, so i think if they hang around for 3 quarters that this could be a factor. You can teach speed, thats why they have speed camps, now you can't make a kid be 6'5" 360.

like the jamboree, dresden tried to kill themselves with penalties and turnovers, but after the 1st quarter it was total domination up front for dresden. I know with 40 seconds in the third quarter, gfield had ran 5 offensive plays that quarter. They gashed them in the second half while it looked like gfield wilted. I hope the player that got hurt is ok. there were plenty of late hits on both sides and to say that was intentional is a stretch. there was about 8 people in a pile when he got hurt. good luck to both teams as they move forward.

I know Dresden has 8 African-American male students in the entire school, 6 of which play basketball(1 of these is originally from Sharon).

I heard that they were getting one or two of these back after the Christmas break. If they do, both are seniors and will help them.

If the Martin people are considered "creative", why would anyone else want to be? Their greatest claim to fame is celebrating a soybean and vandalism.
