Qb and most of the line should be back. so i think they can win 7 or 8 games. i dont think that Walker Valley is any type of Farragut. and east ridge isnt as good as WB on a consistant basis. so i think they can win some more games

yeah, 6 head coaches were black, and 3 of them stink so bad they are losing their jobs. why would Alabama hire a black head coach when nick Saban was wantin to coach there? the point is that majority of coaches who are qualified with a name a white. and when a coach who is qualified wants a head coaching job, he gets it. true, but i always wanted to beat hixson a little more that ooltewah. cause soddy people see hixson students all the time at the mall and stores. never really see ooltewah people. just wanna beat them cause they are a proud and good team year after year

i know. we all know if a team was really paying refs, theyd get caught. but i really hope the owls go all the way. id love to see the defending state champ owls come to soddy on September 4th next year and have a real slobber knocker. just a shame that this rivalry gets moved to the second week. really soddys schedule stinks next year. soddy has 3 big games (hixson, red bank, and ooltewah). they are the first 3 games

with all the noise and stuff in todays game, once you get out there and get into a zone you dont hear much. not like that air horn is any more distracting than the 75000 fans on a saturday afternoon the kids wanna play in front of

i think that if he can work on his arms strength( which E.K talked about in the paper as one of his winter projects) then he can be a college Qb. He reminds me alot of B.J Coleman. Perfect college size, speed adequate enough for D-1, stats for D-1, and i think the system that can show D-1 scouts that he can make quality throws. Now i bleed Blue and Gold like alot of people from soddy, but im not sure if the school is exactly a D-1 school. Kevin Beavers one of the best players to ever come out of Soddy went to Army. the Blues' brothers went to carson newman. And a QB that is close to him, Gary Orr went to Austin Peay [sP?] and is doing very well. so some of the best players to come from soddy havent been to big D-1 schools. I think he might end up at a good D-II school (or whatever they are called now). But he is a good kid, shows alot of ability, not to mention a 3.9 GPA. which in my opinion is to be praised more than his exceptional athletic skills.

i think that Red Banks Qb last year shows that just because you throw for alot of tds and yards you might not be college material. i do know for a fact that scott can chuck a ball with some speed. but E.K talked about in the paper getting him in the weight room this winter to work on his arm strength
