  1. This makes for some great pump up reading material for MUS considering they have been picked to lose by everyone and that if they do win its just because of the refs. Well, i say Owls jump on top early and drive 'em into the dirt!
  2. MUS has several physical backs and likes to get a big push up front. If MUS can establish any kind of run game i think we can win. Im not sure how good Ryan's db's are but they better ready on friday night.
  3. mus has 6 shutouts this season all ready. and i dont believe the trip is that big of an impact, didnt mus beat ryan 33-0 at ryan's homecoming in 04?
  4. I'm not too sure about Ensworth. They seem like they have recruited well, but stopping CBHS is really hard and is never a good first round match up trying to stop probably the biggest run threat offense in the state.
  5. Well of course I have to go with the owls. I think this team has found its identity on offense and is ready to break through. 21-17 owls
  6. Who do you take in this one?
  7. Don't get us wrong. Briarcrest was brave for steppin into the super 7 but without Freeze it was a blind jump. If Freeze hadn't left the story might have been different. Unfortunately in the Super 7 it is a whole different level of competition with the travel that had to be made and the preparation for better teams and briarcrest wasnt ready to say the least. About their underclassmen, they looked pretty good against MUS in a JV game even though they lost 35-9, they just lost it after the second half. MUS's sophmore group is freakish on offense. But Briarcrest held their own through the first half. If they can get a good coach they can win. the athletes are there i think.
  8. MUS would win it. their sophmore class hasnt lost a game since 7th grade. and the jv team hasnt lost in 3 years.
  9. I think MUS has too much speed for Cookeville. Yes, MUS is a young football team but is battle tested this season and ready to fight. Depth won't be a problem for MUS and as BigOwl stated, MUS platoons and stays pretty fresh. It will be an interesting test for a talented young group. Good luck Cavs.
