  1. i have to say he has it... can anyone give me the details of the call or whatever happened? hopefully not to much trouble but curious to see if this would have possibly affected the outcome?
  2. black hole? i've actully never heard that one before... but i like it. Good luck to Maryville and South hopefully be a good game.
  3. I am super impressed with Maryville, I think Red Bank is a good team. Maryville just wanted it a lot more and prob. prepared harder; doesn't hurt that Maryville prob. has the best coaches around. Good luck Maryville and Red Bank don't get mad or down on yourself still had a great year.
  4. Have to say i am very impressed with Bearden, seems to me they peaked at just the right time. I'll admit firsthand that I picked Farragut to run over Bearden oops.. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />. either way though good game Bearden, go get smyrna; and good season farragut.
  5. i have to say even with the impressing show of Bearden last night, I see no way they will beat farragut; i think it will be close for 3 quarters or so and sterling helps pull farragut away.
  6. in fairness the hit was uncalled for and unessecary but you also can't say Bearden would not have PROB. (keyword) dont similar if it had been other way around (tough to tell). As for the tyler/halliday issue.. no way is halliday on a dif. planet exspecially if you look a season stats. Tyler had a horrible night but not to take away from halliday. He is a great player and is great at finding the weakness in the def.
  7. I have to agree with giving it to Sterling. I am not a farragut fan by any means but this kid is something else watching some of those runs.. "whew" scary /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  8. Seems to me both teams are banged up and thats expected at this point; however, im sad about Tim though. I plan to attend this game should be good. making a bold prediction /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Red Bank- 34 Maryville 21
  9. thats a bit immature just saying /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> but anyway great game Bearden, shocked about what happened. Look to me like William Blount could not adjust to what Bearden was doing offense and defense wise. No excuses for that hold your heads up though boys no matter what people say still a great year. As for Bearden keep it up and hopefully see a great game vs. Farragut.
  10. Went to see the WB and CC game and was shocked at how picky the refs were being. I don't believe there were any "conspircies' so to say i just think they were trying to hard to controll the game. I didn't like the head ref (anyone know a name?) seemed a bit cocky and arragont to me.
  11. Being a William Blount fan I would love to see DB beat farragut, however, i can't see it happening. I think it will be close till the 4th but farragut with sterling will pull away. DB-21 Farragut 38
  12. William Blount has a great defense and from what i've seen and heard a pretty good offense, same can be said for bearden (both ways) so im predicting the game could come down to the last possesion. WB-24 Bearden-17
  13. I feel bad for Soddy, Bradley, and Heritage. They practice hard but for some reason do not seem to be able to compete in 5A. Anyway though have to say that Oak Ridge pulls away around halftime Oak Ridge-49 Soddy Daisy- 6
  14. alright thanks just checking, but oh no im not meaning to take anything away either. I mean exspecially when you give up a lot of rushing yards to anyone and fight hard and win, no matter what you deserve it. Good luck to both teams.
  15. i have to agree, 2-5A is probally the best if for nothing else close or unpredictable games. It's also pretty close to the SEC apparently /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> with WB beating OR but losing to farragut, who lost to Mcminn.
  16. i agree with most of your post, except about McMinn not letting Farragut run all over them. Correct me if im wrong please cause im not 100% sure on this; i thought that andre sterling still managed around 200+ yards on them, but like i said may be wrong cause just saw the score and all that. either way i expect a good game but WB pulls away William Blount 34 Mcminn 17
  17. I believe William Blount will bounce back, probally be practicing even harder than usual with Fall Break going on. Oak Ridge is from what i've heard a much better team than last year. Should be close but after couple of heartbreaks William Blount will finally get back on track. William Blount-31 Oak Ridge-21
  18. So William Blount should have made Maryville homecoming huh? that makes sense... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> but seriously WB did not have much choice the way the schedule falls every other year. I know the Coaching staff at William Blount well and trust me.. they have ALL the respect in the world for farragut and exspecially Andre Sterling who is a great back. Hope to see a rematch in the playoffs.
  19. I agree, not to take away from the other 5A regions but this is probally one, if not the toughest region to play in. Any team can beat another any giving friday; just depends on who makes the fewest mistakes. (besides heritage /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> )
