You know what Im saying Cat, and we havent always agreed on things over the years. Its just tainting any accomplishment to let a 5-5 team in or one with a loosing record just so they can say we made it to the playoffs. And before anybody goes there, Livingston did it in the old classifications when it meant something

Whatever man. Be realistic, and before you say anything, my son played and graduated from White House. Even if we win this Friday night, and I expect them too, WH still will not have beaten a team with a winning record. DO YOU REALLY think they deserve to play in week 11? REALLY ? BDP and all that other stuff aside, we just arent that good this year. Every program has a downslide and we have been lucky not to have one until the last 2 years. Pride is one thing but Talent wins Championships. Why go to week 11 if you dont have a team that can win the whole thing? Since the TSSAA went to these extra classifications they are letting not so good teams into the playoffs to pad thier own pockets. They dont care about the kids or what might happen in week 11. Its all about money for them, thats all. Im not bashing the program, Porter or anybody else, and I am surely not bashing the kids but the product on the field is just not there this year. Its not the kids fault.......

This whole playoff talk has become crazy. I have been and still am a big White House Fan. With that being said, The TSSAA has lost thier minds with this playoff format. White house should not even be considered this year for the playoffs. We still havent beaten a team with a winning record and to be honest, we just arent that good. I would rather have these kids sitting home for round one than have them go through what Whites Creek did to them last year. Untill the TSSAA quits thier money loving ways , the playoffs will be tainted. just my opinion

News around White House is that Trox Greenwade and Aussie Light and the third string quarterback have been benched for being 10 minutes late to practice Monday. Hope the mighty Blue Devils can overcome this large obstitcle that the coaches put on the team. I will believe that when I see it. I don't think Porter has lost his mind. What time and channel does the game come on tomorrow night? Game time is 7:30 and I think it will be on channel 27 comcast. I too have heard the rumor and although I think its classless to call kids names out on here( which I will never do ) I will never question the coaching staff here.( I'll take winning an average of 9 games a year anytime)I dont know if its a full game suspension or not starting the game. I guess we will see tonight. The House should be packed. Get here early.

Portland fans will have to keep in mind that "howdoitknow" aka Catfish, and his team is Cheatham County which Greenbrier has yet to play. Since we beat his almamater this past week, Sycamore, and Catfish is a radio announcer for Cheatham I am pretty sure he hasn't seen Greenbrier play. He's just trying to give Portland some "bulletin board" material to fuel the fire, cause he sure is hoping you guys "pay us back". Now mind you, I am thinking my Cats can pull off a win but coming into Portland is a tough gig. Train whistles, and all the talk about Portland being better this year may be different for some of the new starters for Greenbrier, and Portland can take two different attitudes...a defeated on or a fed up one. Regardless, the Cats are going to come to play and they will play tough....and leave everything on the field. Good luck to both teams.... (Oh, and the followup response from the former poster will be to call me names and put his notorious littel laughing face at the end. It's Classic JJ-style. Keep baiting Cat. he'll be gone by mid-season. I see your Cats winning this one and the younger Cats getting some game experience. I'll go with 28-6 Cats. Portland has a long way to go and the fans dont seem to have the patience to give the new coach time to rebuild a program. Sad, Portland was at one time a feared team. They will be again if they give their new coach some time. If they dont it will be like this every 3 or 4 years

"Those guys" were the same person, just like you are. Give it a rest this year or are you going for the all time record of getting kicked off The T. All of your posts are the same. We get it , you dont like WH, move on. Go Cubs or whoever you are going to cheer for this year. You wont last long, as usual

I really like the fact no one is talking up the Blue Devils this year. Yes we lost alot of starters off of last years team but I really think this team will turn some heads. Strong passing and running game. Good D lineman and linebackers. The D secondary may be young but they are talented atheletes. Its all going to come down to the O line. There is some experience coming back and knowing the coaches they will move players around to make it work. I am NOT saying by any means this is a state championship team but I do think they will make a deep run into the playoffs. The coaches know how to win and they will get it done. The kids have heart. I cant wait for the season to start. Oh yes the game, Wh 31 Portland 14, just my opinion..............

My understanding is he has never recovered from knee replacement surgury from 2 years ago. I dont know if he is taking the spring off or if he has quit the team. He is a big boy and I'm sure they would miss him in the line. Any word on the scrimmages so far?

Why should WH have to move up a classification? Enrollment is that of 3A. When the score was out of reach did GB not try to score? Your post shows a lack of knowledge on your part, not a lack of sportsmanship on the WH coaching staff. Maybe GB should drop a classification but wait, they are classified for 3A arent they. Is this just decades of resentment on your part or do you have other issues towards WH. Most GB fans understand how football is played maybe you should take a class from them

We had enough of them in White House for both of us. It is clear that they are to be used as a distraction than entertainment. Maybe the coach should look to the band for next years team. At least they dont give up in the 4th quarter.

If there ever was a meaning of a BIG game this is it. Region Champs, Home field avantage and local bragging rights. It doesnt get any better than that. I'll wait till later for a prediction, but it will be a barn burner.........
