I don't think Cloudland was trying to win a mind game. I can see how that would appear. Grace is a very good football team. Took CHS by surprise at how good. Enjoyed your posts all year. Good luck in the playoffs.

Look. The more you argue about one comment (not from coaches!), the worse it looks on your staff. Game after game they repeat. LET IT GO!

Again you are wrong. It may have happened then, but there were parents from both sides on the field immediatly after the game, so don't go on about it. Your coaches cussed our players the whole game and ONE parent sais something on our side and you get an attitude. Get over it. We did. You guys have a good ball club. Be happy about that. Yes our coach is a class act on the field along with the rest of the coaching staff. Not cussing players! Know what YOU are talking about before you go on about it! Oh yeah I was with the head coach so was the other coaches. So if you were talking to him, then you would have known it wasn't our staff.

Nothing would have been said if not for randomsandom posting it on Coacht. I'm through discussing the issue, I do not blame Grace people for defending their name, but you should look deep before accusing somone of something.

I agree that your school will not tolerate that kind of stuff. I'm sure your a fine young man along with the rest of your team. It only takes a few to tarnish the whole. Oh and before anyone jumps that statement. I'm sure language comes from our school to. Not from our coaches toward the other team!

1st your credibility is shotdown due to all the witnesses from the stands and the field, not only in this game but in other games (Coalfield ring a bell?) 2nd Not sure about somone cussing the players, I thought it was a disgruntled parent, but I am sure it was not a coach. It was definately not the Head coach, because he did not talk to any players. He went straight to your head coach. Don't start on the Satterfield issue, because you obviously don't have a clue.

First Grace outplayed the Highlanders, so congragulations, good job. Second,that was not a coach that said a word to Grace's player. That is a fact. The coaching staff at Cloudland does not speak to the other teams players except to say good job. You can fight, argue, or whatever with Cosby, but don't mouthoff about something you know nothing about. The problem was a parent who listened on the sideline, to their kid get cussed(by the coaching staff!) and retaliated.(Not defending it) Start a thread for Grace and Cosby and have at it, but leave what you know nothing about alone!

Facts are nobody knows all the story. Let it go. I've known Mike for many years and some of my best friends are at Hampton. It should be a good rivalry, but for the right reasons!

I have to agree with Pujo. I played for Luns and got most of my playing time during my Soph. and Fresh. years. I played usually a half during my Senior and Junior years except when we played the likes of Hampton.

No doubt that Trousdale is better this year at this point than Hampton, but Hampton had the closer game last year.

I'm sure Harriman will bring their A game, and they are good. No disrespect, but there aren't many defences in A that compare to Hampton's. Should be a good game.
