In the event that a three way tie happens in the way that you say, the region title goes to Howard, Polk 2nd, Central 3rd. The tie breaker is head to head, all equal. Second tie breaker is most victories, Central has a forfeit win against Grundy, I do not think it counts in the tie breakers. Howard did beat Polk so that tie breaker goes to Howard, then Polk, then Central. I may be wrong, but I think that is how it will go.

I have to say that after seeing both teams play, it does not look good for the Chiefs of Sequoyah. Howard has the best team I have seen play all year. I like the way their new coach has been doing things. Players are much more disciplined than in the past. My pick, Howard 43 Sequoyah 7. Good luck to both teams, I hope you play hard with pride.

Polk has two losses, Central has one loss. If Polk is unbeatable, then how can they have two losses? Some people do think Polk is unbeatable, just like Smokey think Central is unbeatable by anyone. Both teams have played six games this year that they have won. We will have to see who can pull it out in a tough game this Friday.

Polk and MC have 4 common opponents this season so far. Against those 4 opponents, both teams are very close. With the 2 teams being as close as they are, I will have to go with the experience. Polk is the more experienced team. This will be a much lower scoring game than most people think, 14 points by either team could very well win this game. I say 14-13 Polk.

Smokey, has Central been making the mistakes and turning the ball over of have the defenses been taking the ball away? Big difference in the two.

If the Central D is as great as Smokey says and they gave up 36 to Meigs, then the Polk D should all be playing D1 football next year because they only gave up 8 points. I even seem to recall someone saying that the Meigs O was better now than when they played Central. I don't want to take anything away from Meigs, they played hard football against Polk. Meigs always plays Polk tough. From only seeing each team play once this year, the kid from Howard is a little better than Mobriant. That is just a quick opinion made with very little evidence.

I have been reading all of these posts over the last few days and there is one thing I just can not figure out. If Polk is so overrated, then why does MC seem to care so much about beating them? Polk might be down this year from the past. MC seems to be better. From everything I have read on here, MC is bigger and faster and deeper at most positions. To me, Polk should be no different than beating Tellico or Grundy, just a region game on the schedule. I don't see anyone trashing either of those two teams. Now for the playoffs. I think Howard will be the 1 seed. I have had the chance to see them play this year, they are good. They do need to work on a few things, but a very very good team.
