  1. Can anyone update us on the Upperman game?
  2. The 1-A Championship game was between Allons Elementary and Tracy City. Allons started the game off with a 3-point basket by #20 Cole White and quickly jumped out to an early lead. The Allons' 8th graders led the the way to close the first quarter with a 14-3 lead. Tracy City shrunk the margin on the scoreboard thanks to Levi Miller and Tyler Scissom who started to heat up. Miller and Scissom scored all of Tracy City's 13 points in the quarter. Tracy City found themselves down 21-16 at half time. The third quarter was controlled by the Allons Hawks. Allons' Mason Ramsey scored 8 of his game high 21 in the quarter to help the Hawks out score their opponents 14-7 to end the quarter with a score of 35-23. In the final quarter Tracy City made an early run, but the Hawks managed to hold off the talented team. Hunter White helped his Hawks keep their lead by scoring 6 points in the quarter, making 4 of 4 free-throws down the stretch to seal his team's victory. Allons Stats Name--------------Points-Rebounds-Steals-Assists Mason Ramsey - 21--10--6--3 Cody Jackson - 6--9--x--1 Hunter White - 10--8--3--1 Austin Hogue - 2--x--x--x Cole White - 5--x--x--x Mitch Maynord - 2--1--x--x John M Ferrell - 2--2--3--1 Tracy City Stats Name-----------Points Levi Miller--19 Tyler Scissom--14 Schylay Burgess--2 Both teams played extremely hard and each have had a great season. Not sure of Tracy City's finale record, but I am sure it was pretty good. The Allons Hawks finished the season 18-6. The Hawks will be losing 8th graders Mason Ramsey, Cody Jackson, & Hunter White. Those are the Hawks' 3-top scorers. The Hawks will have a lot of work to do next season to make up for losing 3 great players.
  3. Although he isn't from as far east as some of the others mentioned, Mason Ramsey who plays at Allons in Overton County isn't all that bad. He is scoring 25 ppg and is pulling 12 rpg. He also has about 3 bpg. He is already about 6'3'' and his older brothers (who both play at Livingston Academy) are 6'7'', meaning he still might have some more growing to do. Must just be something in the water in the Livingston area....
  4. The Allons Hawks played Christ the King tonight in the semi-finals of the boys 1-A TNT tournament. They beat the Raiders 54-35. Leading the Hawks in scoring was Mason Ramsey who had 31 points. He also had 9 rebounds, 4 blocked shots, and 5 steals. Hunter and Cole White (no relation) followed with 6 points each. Austin Hogue and Mitch Maynord each had 3 points. Cody Jackson and Will Woody each contributed 2 points. The Hawks out rebounded the Raiders 32-24. The Hawks also committed 18 turnovers in the game. The Raiders where led by max Stoffer who had 9 points. Patrick Williamson had 6. Dean Shahan and Johnson Turnmyre each had 5 points. Kyle Burnett added 4 points. Bailey Holmes had 3 and Clay Shulz had 2. Nick Bontrager added the final point. The Raiders committed 7 turnovers. Allons will play Tracy City tommorrow in the 1-A championship game.
  5. So, How did the game go with CTK? I seen that they won. What can you tell us about them?
  6. Showed your class with that post. Considering Coach "Melting" got his team to the state tournament for the first time in 11 years in his 3rd year of coaching, I would still have to say job well done on a great season. He will get his team back to the boro next year. But you are probably right about that little 5'8'' junior guard choking.. After all, he only had 22 and about 7 rebounds... /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> Best of luck to Fulton in the next round.
  7. Great game for the Wildcats. Everyone did their part. The fans were great as well. Still have 3 more to go. Lets hit the road to the Boro. /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" />
  8. I am going to go WAY out on a limb and say White House wins this one. White House will get hot and win by 5. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> If they do, this will be the upset of the week.
  9. We are about 4 hours away from officially being invited to the Boro! (Yes, boys.) I will say it will be a close game until late in the third. Thats when the Cats will start to pull away. It would be nice if someone had a big grill in the LA parking lot so we could all tailgate. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> Good Luck Wildcats. This is what you have worked you butts off for all year long. (and then some) If you want it, Go get it. I'll be there when the doors open. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  10. I would love to see the LA student section get into it also. I don't think I have really seen the student section have a loud game yet. Take Kings challenge. Be loud... Be Proud... EVERYONE WEAR BLUE.. Go H-O-G ~~ E-Y-E
  11. By having a player (who is not nominated for MR. Basketball) who is able to put up 49 points against him.
  12. Well I was close to hitting the nail on the head. With the foul trouble LA got in, the bench had to play a crucial role. Especially defensively. Of course, Dunn's 49 points helped out a little. Station Camp should be in the State Tournament also. They had a great season. Congrats LA.
