They are a Big Fish in a Small Pond. Tennessee High School Football is Decent but far from what anyone would consider a Powerhouse. Supposedly the Best Team in the State at the Start of the Season was LA. They decided to Schedule a Real Powerhouse in IMG ACADEMY. It got Real, Real fast and they were Embarrassed 35-10. That same LA team would hang 30 easily on Alcoa. I would say since Alcoa has been to the Top of the Mountain in State Titles, take your Titles and go to South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama or Mississippi. There are Great teams in those States that would enjoy the competition. You have Won 9 Titles in a Row. Get out there and play other Top teams. Complete against the Best. It will Never happen because a 15-0 Record looks better than a 14-1 Record.

This is not about this game but it’s a question that will probably never get an answer. Why is it last week Ravenwood played IMG out of Florida and a Nationally Ranked team when it should have been Maryville Who has won many Titles this Century? I want to see a great Matchup. Go outside your comfort zone. Week in and week out Maryville pounds another team with Alcoa playing them close at times. And why is it Maryville has so many titles and is never ranked in the top 25 in the nation? I guess we will never see any great out of state matchups against other big ranked teams.

Here’s what gets me tickled. Maryville and Alcoa win Title after Title but never finish in the top 25 in the nation. Wonder why? Tennessee Football is soft compared to other teams in the South. Top teams from Ms, Ga, Bama and Florida would Run Train on them. Maryville is scared to go out of State. Keep your Trophies. Paper Champs.

Super 25???? Wow. I watch 2 teams last Night down in Mississippi. Starkville Vs West Point. The 2 Best teams in Mississippi and I’m willing to bet either team would run train on any Tennessee team including precious Maryville and Alcoa. It’s easy to always say how great you are and win all these championships but why not travel to Georgia or Alabama to play Hover? I’ll never understand how Maryville can have so many titles and never want to play better quality teams from other states. I guess 15-0 always looks better than 14-1. SAWFT.
