Any predictions for this games. I know Glencliff has a fast running back but had a set back at the hands of Rossview. We are coming off a great game with David Lipcomb.

My prediction is that the game will be very close. Both teams realize that it is still early and the season doesn't hinge on this game; moreover, it will be a great football game. The defenses will be very physical but as always the team who make the least mistakes wins. Overton does have big play ability and will have to use it in this games. Prediction: 21-14 Overton.

They will not meet in the playoff for they are in two different classifications. Overton is an 6A while Lipcomb is in 4A

Any predictions for this games? David Lipscomb will be well prepared? Overton has a very physical defense and a smash mouth offense.

I think Ensworth will win this one by the score of 24-10.

This was a great scrimmage for both teams. Both teams played their 1st teams 85 person of the scrimmage with Smyrna coming out on top 14-0. Both were able to move the ball against each other. Smryna scored on a fumble pick up as Overton was driving inside Smyrna's 10 yd line. Smyrna also scored on air strike in the end zone from about 15 yards out. Overton moved the ball down to the 5 yrd line but was'nt able to scored as time expired in the first half of the scrimmage. Both defenses looked great. I think Smryna 2nd unit scored also.

I was at the Brentwood and Overton scrimmage. Both teams look pretty good and have something to hang their hat on this year. The score with the 1st teams was 21-20 Overton. Their were 3 td by each team and a missed fg by Brentwood. The 1st team played 90 percent of the scrimmage. Brentwood 2nd unit scored twice. I look forward to a great season for the both of the teams.

And that is pathetic. It seems like a lot of fans want to see it happen. Both Bradley and Baylor should make it happen. What if Iowa didn't wrestle Iowa State for that would cheat college wrestling of a intrastate rivalry that goes beyond politics.

Most youngster really don't care to much for wrestling like they once did. They are more interested in the sports thats get the attention i.e. football and basketball. Some of you better athletes are not even wrestling now llike they once.

Daniel White only started wresting his sophmore year. He didn't wrestle in middle school. He struggle his sophmore year but still places 4th in a tough Region 6. His Junior year he did exceptionally well beating some state placers in the process before being sidelined with a rib cartilage injury that ended his season. He won it his senior season. Daniel White is an athlete and his passion is football. If he had concentrated on wrestling you would be talking about him as one of the best wrestler to ever come out of Tennessee. Daniel was just too hard to take down and he was just to explosive for many of his competitors

Overton lost 3 state placers but do returns some guys who was battle tested.

Daniel White went 40-4. He lost to know one at 152lbs in the state of Tennessee. His losses were at 160lbs

Daniel White is one of most powerful and explosive wrestler that was at the state tournament. George Harmon and Colton Popp most definitely would find it difficult getting a shot on him. He beat one of the best wrestler in New York Ryan Jones of Phoenix ranked #2 in Section 3.

George Harmon would have to take Daniel down first and I can tell from watching him wrestle all year long that is very difficult to do. He let everyone up after taking them down and that is how they get there points. There are only about 4 wrestler that have taking him down and none of them has done it more than 3 times in a match.
