Actually he is from Memphis! and a graduate of Tennessee Tech! Sure would be nice for the Patriots to win a State Championship on the same field he played on! AND I have been to Riverdale many times..... On the sideline and in the weightroom! Thanks for the invite though!

I know one thing...... There will be a handful of Memphians headed to Murfreesboro Friday to root for Coach McDaniel and the Patriots! As we traveled last week headed to Cookeville and got stuck in the worst traffic jam ever and had to turn around and come back! Good Luck to both teams!!! Just hope the Patriots can pull off ROUND TWO!!!

Just for the record..... Don't blame the Bartlett game on the weather! Sure it was nasty but how many Friday nights weren't?? Craigmont has a great team. But truth be known Bartlett came out and ran straight at them and Craigmont had no answer what so ever! First drive was 16 plays and 80 yards! That to me is called domination. Good luck to both teams! No prediction here. My guess is very close and comes down to special teams!

Sorry about the Mistake!! Bartlett vs. Melrose! How do people think about this interesting matchup?? Both teams coming off dominating performances!

What are your opinions on this interesting matchup? Bartlett comes off a dominating 28-0 victory over Craigmont and Melrose comes off a huge victory over Whitehaven.

With Raleigh Egypt getting a new coach and Craigmont being young from what I here, What are the thoughts of this always competitive region??

Let me throw a couple names out there and see what people think...... How bout Jason Curtis (Arlington) or Dan Holcomb (Germantown)??? Younger guys that want to be head coaches and come from great programs!

Im going to go out on a limb and say the weather will not affect the outcome of the game. Looking back, how many Friday Nights this year have been dry? Not many! Arlington has played in wet conditions and I am almost positive they got some work in on tuesday outside in the rain. The Arlington coaches will have these young men prepared and ready for whatever weather is ahead! No disrespect to the Millington people at all! They have a great ball team and I know Coach Hawkins will have them ready to try and make a statement in Week 10! I hate predictions and will probably fall on my face with this one BUT........ I SAY ARLINGTON 35-10......

Ok! Tomorrow is the big day! Great matchup between both schools! Should be very physical! As I live in Memphis and follow the Patriots, could someone please tell me if there will be a live broadcast on the internet??? Maybe watch it or at least listen to it??

See I think thats wrong..... I think it is the highest district ranking against you classification. Which makes it headed to head.... So confusing! How bout each coach will have NO idea until Saturday after the final game!! How bad is that??

I am ALMOST positive that this game has zero playoff implications! May be wrong but from some of the "Important" people Ive talked to the only one that matters is Craigmont.....

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but honestly this game means nothing with the playoffs! This is a huge rivalry game and sure the bragging rights are on the table, but no playoff implications are riding on this. According to the tssaa website and the slideshow on the front page, it has a man that breaks down each region and 5A/6A playoffs. Per TSSAA, with there being 3 5A teams in region 14AAA, there will be one automatic qualifier within those three teams based on head to head records. Both Craigmont and Bartlett have beat Egypt so the winner of Craigmont/Bartlett will be the automatic qualifier for this Region. This means that Bartlett could make the playoffs if they lose tonight and win vs. Craigmont with a 3-7 record....... This make sense???
